they recalled my tickets, said I've got to pick them up from the box office on the day from 12 noon, has this happened to anyone else? The box office at the park itself?

Headin down about 10 of us from Glasgow in the morning, got the Buckfast in already  Remember what happened the last time large groups came from Glasgow to Manchester, we'll make sure it won't happen again ! |

Going on the Saturday and the Bowlee parking space is a ten minute drive from my house. So I will end up parking within ten minutes....CRAZY!! Looking forward to it tho, it will MONUMENTAL!!!

If true, wouldn't this be a very close rival to Knebworth (250,000)?

yes, knebworth was 250,000 over 2 nights, 125,000 each night.
heaton park will be 210,000 over 3 nights, 70,000 each night

If you want tickets, they were being sold cheap outside gate entrance 14, the best I got offered was £20.00 each.
Do not try and park, get public transport, not reliable but better than walking.
The last train from Manchester Victoria to Blackpool leaves at 23.23pm.
