to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if there would be NO changes at all ))) I mean don't rely on what Noel says..... i can see live forever and roll with it goin in for first gig at heaton then noel deciding the sets too long again and go back to same old.... hope not Ah the joys of going to the first gig of the UK tour :-D You get to see any changes (if they make any!) before they're dropped! Haha!

If there's one problem with recording a more "bluesy / groovy" record, with not as many "songy-songs", it's that when noel feels the need to play 6 (or is it 5?) tunes from the new record, you're left with 4 or 5 songs that aren't exactly big-gig friendly because big gigs are good for, you know, "songy-songs".

I don't really consider these gigs part of the DOYS tour. They shouldn't even be concerned with how well they're representing the new album.

Sounds about right... last time they've played Wembley they only performed 3 tunes from SOTSOG which was the latest album then... and if they're not doing Bag It Up or The Turning I guess I'd be pleased with Shock Of The Lightning, Falling Down and TBWTL from DOYS and that's enough....

I will never understand the hate for TIOBI live... Chris drums it so well and it's easily the best thing Noel has written this decade, it's amazing live.
Cut C&A, Meaning of Soul, Songbird, Rock and Roll Star, and Falling Down, and bring in The Turning, Acquiesce, Gas Panic, Turn Up The Sun, and Stand By Me.

TIOBI is good... but for me is not an Oasis Song... Is a Noel solo song...

Has anyone herd anything definate about weather the choir is doing the coming shows, I know we've all been expecting themk too, but as far as I'm aware we herd nothing since the night of the Electric Proms, I'm just hoping that it wasn't a spur of the moment thing that has long since been disguarded

I'd like to see Listen Up, Stand By Me, Some Might Say, and Columbia but I'm guessing they'll probably just stick Live Forever back in and maybe Roll With It

If we get "new" songs into the set, they would be only those they rehearsed so far roll with it / gas panic / live forever / my big mouth / the turning I personally think if anything there should happen , that would be one change. .....so don't come with all around the world or anything like this....stop dreaming, that would NEVER happen

To come in I would like.....D'you Know What I Mean?, Whatever, Some Might Say, Roll With It, Live Forever, Gas Panic!, Columbia, Bag It Up and The Turning. Not too much to ask is it Noel?

I don't really consider these gigs part of the DOYS tour. They shouldn't even be concerned with how well they're representing the new album. Totally agree, but being realistic it'll be the same set with 3 or 4 tweaks. Bearing that in mind, I'd drop Songbird, Ain't Got Nothing, Wonderwall and I Am The Walrus and play Live Forever, Acquiesce, The Turning and any from Be Here Now. I Am The Walrus is great live but I don't like ending on a cover when they have such a good back catalogue.

It's just that, it's been played a lot now, and Noels got about 10 more songs that I'd wish he'd do instead.

I recall noel saying that when they started the tour they where thinking of a greatest hits tour, but then doys songs creeped in, so maybe they will do it this time? Im going to see them in Belgium on the Rock Werchter festival which is in juli.. so dont drop any new tunes you lazy *ss f*ckers!

I Am The Walrus is great live but I don't like ending on a cover when they have such a good back catalogue. I'm not a big fan of the new version, to be honest. It's a little bloated, and they basically just plod through it. And like you say, they're missing out so many good songs of their own that it just doesn't make sense to end on a cover.

the tracks i dont really care about are Wonderwall, Supersonic, Morning Glory, WFTR, C&A (cos its played for sooo long) and TIOBI
I think they should put in My big mouth, The turning, Gas Panic, Live Forever, the electric version of DLBIA and...i dont know, i wish Talk Tonight.

hey, The global exclusive premiere of Kasabian’s new album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. is now up. you can stream the entire album for free at www.myspace.com/kasabian - a whole week before it is available on general release on 8th June. There are some really catchy songs... they should be great when they open for Oasis

My ideal five would be: Live Forever - I Am The Walrus (knock Champange Supernova to last) Roll With It - Ain't Got Nothin' Gas Panic - BOTH Meaning of Soul and To Be Where There's Life Don't Go Away(Noel sung) - Waiting For The Rapture (IT WON'T HAPPEN I KNOW) Acquiece - Morning Glory
Asking a lot with the last two I know!!

If I'm honest I reckon they'll only change one song. Two if we're lucky. 'Live Forever' will probably come in. If it doesn't I'll be pretty pissed off.
If there's a second change it'll be 'Acquiesce' to be included and the songs replaced will be 'The Meaning Of Soul' and 'Supersonic'

I don't think many people would mind, should 'meaning of soul' and 'aint got nothin' be excluded. Ideally i would include any two or three of these... The hindu times Columbia Some might say Live Forever Acqueisce I hope to God they don't play Roll With It...........
