Looking forward to this now. Don't really mind who wins (allthough edging more than slightly towards Barca) as long as it's high scoring.

Man ure were played off the park. Delighted!
Barca are the best team in europe and they proved it tonight. Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Henry, Puyol and Pique were outstanding. I'm surprized Man ure played so bad.

UTD LOOK LIKE ABSOLUTE SHIT Jeez nothing worse than a yank going on about football. Go play hockey chad Anyways we were good first 10 mins but when they got the goal we were shook and they settled and dominated. Bitterly dissapionted but can have no complaints they were the better team and desvered it. This should be a good kick up the arse for next season.

i was really disappointed by manu tonight. after that first goal it was over. sometimes it looked like a training session for barca. i never really had the impression that manu was giving everything to win. they never really played agressive. by the time they started, it was out of sheer frustration (scholes e.g.). but before that, they almost seemed a bit naive. and sorry, but ronaldo was a joke today. it sometimes seems that everything he does is just for the show (or NL4E). of course he is extremly gifted, fast and has a nice shooting technique, but he is so ineffective. i was shocked when i heard today, that he only had scored 2 out of his last 63 direct free kicks (i mean, even my ratio is better than that and i am a pretty pathetic football player! imagine the laughter of real free kick experts like juninho watching this!). that's ridiculous! he might consider quit acting like john wayne - not only because he might be able to concentrate a bit more on where to shoot the ball (instead of counting his steps backwards...). it's also absolutely ridiculous to perform a show like that everytime and then only hit 2 in 63 (eventhough he might be lucky to hit one of those two like the one against arsenal). i think he would be such a better player if he started thinking a little less about the show and a bit more about his game. iniesta for example, or xavi. both very unpretentious and not spectacular, but they were playing so fucking impressive. they seemed to be everywhere and everything they did made sense. i think these players are so much more important than guys like christiano ronaldo.
in the end: highly deserved victory for barca with a little luck in the first 10 minutes but so much better during the rest of the game.

Newcastle hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Stop acting like a dick. It's incredibly small-time to start taking the piss out of other people's teams any time yours suffers a setback, and particularly when they're not one of your rivals. I'm incredibly disappointed with United's performance. Ultimately, I think we paid the price for two things: a) losing Darren Fletcher, and b) picking a team to accommodate Ji-Sung Park. In the absence of Fletcher, Anderson's role was to get in amongst Xavi and Iniesta, something which he failed spectacularly to do. When your other midfielders are a 35 year old Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick - hardly the most combative midfielder - then you're always going to struggle to win the ball back from a team with Barcelona's quality. And our formation - built around Ji-Sung Park - also set us up for defeat. We got away with it at Arsenal simply because we took the lead; conceding the early goal last night meant that we were left chasing the game with our two biggest attacking threats playing out of position. By the time Fergie got around to changing it, Barcelona were in full control, and our substitutes were never going to make an impact. What makes defeat more difficult to accept is that Barca didn't really create - they simply did a great job of retaining possession, and took full advantage of two instances of very poor defending. I only wish Fergie had been braver and played 442, like he did against Chelsea last year. I think it'd have won us the game.

I hope one of these days he breaks both his legs on the field and ends his career. If I were a United fan, I'd bite the hands of Madrid if they offered £40 million for him. It's lucky you're not a United fan then. He's the most gifted player I've ever seen, and even if he's a bit petulant at times, I'll forgive him a few petty indiscretions if it means I have the privilege of watching him stride out in our shirt week-in, week-out. Last night, he was the only one on the pitch who looked like he gave a toss. He's a credit to our club. Oh, and it takes a total c*nt to wish a career-ending injury on an outstanding footballer just because you don't like him. Fucking inexcusable.

You're right supersonic, we've proven to be the best football team in the world right now. Won't argue with that. A treble is a fantastic achievement. I just know we're capable of much, much more than we showed on the pitch last night.

What A Game!!
Messi showed once and for all that he is way better than Ronaldo in the big games. He played for the team at all times (unlike C to the Ron ) and my goodness what a leap for the header. The boy is genius and is so humble to boot.
However Iniesta and Xavi were just amazing, truly destroyed Utd's midfield and perhaps warranted more of the headlines.
Pique was a rock, seriously he has grown so much since he rejoined Barca!!!
St. Josep Guardiola of Catalonia......what a genius!!!
The saddest thing for me though has to be the fading of Wayne Rooney, a player who was sensational four years ago (ronaldo was not fit to lace his boots) .But Fergie's deployment of him on the left to accommodate the selfish fucker that is Ronaldo is scandalous. His confidence is gone, he can't dribble past players anymore and his shooting is erratic.
Ferguson has ruined him.

The way HE thinks he's above Man Utd, HE only plays for himself, HE is a poser full of his own self fucking importance, and importantly to us opposition fans HE is a filthy continual cheat who always seems to get away with it. You say he was the only one trying on Wednesday - truth in that, but there's more truth in the fact he was only playing for himself, NOT for the team. He is the c*nt and all that's wrong with the modern footballer.

As a football player he's very talented and the second best player in the world after Messi but as a person he's rubbish, selfish and arrogant. The perfect player for Real Madrid.

I hope he f*cks off out of England and we'll see how Utd get on then! We've survived losing our best player three times in the Premiership era and done well enough out of it, so I don't think we'll be in any trouble, thanks. Although I still maintain he's going nowhere.

He can fuck off to Spain for all I care - that'll be one less prick in the money making machine that is the English Premier League.
