I'm so fuckin over it, I don't think they're coming to the States this year. All the RUMORS with Weezer got shoved down the toilet. I personally think they could really careless about the States, they make their bread&butter in the UK/Europe anyway. The dough they make in the states is for the alimony they pay Patsy and Meg. Us in the States cant catch a break of these guys. They've realized they aren't going to crack America anymore so why put in the EXTRA effort to please us? I mean we get no singles, no special US editions, NO extra tracks not even a tacky badge. Don't get me wrong, I'll be a fan till the day I die, I'd follow Liam into any fight, however their lackluster attitude towards the US is not very cool. If they play here this year, fuckin great, Im going, Im not holding my breath for another US tour leg though. .....pass me down the wine.....

I've been hearing it's been pushed to September, so... And I've heard it from two different sources. Personally, if that ends up being the case I'll be happy since it gives time to save up $$

They've had a pretty intense overseas touring itinerary. They've played everywhere this tour, I can see them back in North America in the fall.

In the event that the lads do come to the US again at some point this year, I think they should do gigs in much smaller venues, for me, for us, for THE REAL FANS. Venues that hold 2000-3000 folks, with a GENERAL ADMISSION/PIT area. The minute you have a seating chart, that's what people are going to do, sit their asses down. Like the vaginas that are 20rows back from the stage, sitting down during Cigarettes & Alcohol, chowing down on a fuckin pepperoni pizza and the ONLY reason they've gone to the gig is for the sole purpose of hearing WONDERFUCKINWALL!

I agree with you on that one. I would much rather see them in a theatre setting than in the arenas they were playing when they were here in December. Tickets might be a little harder to get (depending on their opener) but IMHO, I think its worth it. Although good luck with a GA floor. I think our only chance of that is them playing huge places again (UIC is the only one in the past few years I can think of off the top of my head). I've seen some pretty rawkus shows that have had seating in them, so its not all bad.

The seated floor at the patriot center killed the crowd this past december... and they cut off booze before ryan adams was even finished, terrible venue (even tho it generally has great sound) the lawn at merriweather, md in 2005 was where it was happening i'm ready for another round of that! the booze freely there

the all state arena was 80%+ capacity and it seats about 20k, so there you go.

The arena tour was a good turn out people!
Madison square gardens was complety sold out and the rest were 90% full.. which aint bad !! considering the hard economical times.

I saw Jet at House Of Blues downtown a couple years ago. Few thousand fans, it was fucking awesome. I would give anything to see Oasis in a intimate setting like that. Of course if I lived across the pond I'd be dying to go to one of the Heaton Park gigs.

That won't happen because Noel has already said that he doesnt like the intimate setting. I think they should plan by city. hicago, New York, and LA will always be either close to sold out or near soul out, but cities like Detroit and Oakland they shoud go smaller. I'm not saying that there's n alot of Oasis fans cities like that, but that there are not enough fans. At least not enough fans to fill large stadiums.

well, the best oasis gig i've been to since 2000 has been in 2005 in the house of blues. has to be the smallest venue they've played in the last 10-15 years in new york, it was just magic. place was packed, you had the general admission, a bit of a mosh was going on, it was just perfect. i'd take that over gigs at radio city, beacon, msg etc any day of the week.

i'd love to see more small venues. Sure it may not be the same amount of people for the band to look at but those couple thousand who are there will be passionate fans and will be going nuts when their that close to their favorite band.

They've got the tour sorted untill the end of August. Then they have to play Australia and Rusia (Noel has already said they will do these) That will probably take up most of September. They played North America twice on this tour already, why would they go back?

When I went to the Noel/Gem acoustic show in Toronto a few years ago a guy in front of me started high-fiving all his friends when Don't Look Back In Anger started...

I don't get why Noel hates smaller gigs. When I saw them last year, at The Pearl in Vegas, it was fucking great! Pretty small venue, everyone went crazy especially for Morning Glory. I remember looking back and seeing the crowd covered in orange light bouncing along, it was great.
