It is. If all goes according to plan they'll be on a double bill with Weezer......

New York,Madison Square Garden Boston, Tsongas Arena Toronto,Air Canada Center Washington,Patriot Center Detroit,Fox Theater Chicago,Rosemont Theater Los Angeles,Gibson Amphitheater (2 nights) Phoenix,Dodge Theater Dallas,Nokia Theater Nashville,Ryman Aud. Atlanta,Civic Center ....this "could be" a nearly sold out tour for the lads with support like Kasabian!!

I don't know about that...Once you do MSG, it's kind of tough to do anything smaller. If anything, they'll play Jones Beach on Long Island or PNC Bank Center in northern NJ. I'd imagine Jones Beach would be the more likely option though.

the first show at jones beach is always around the end of May, i believe last year it was May 25, so that fits the time frame of this tour, that would be absolutely amazing since i only live 20 minutes from jones beach

A Jones Beach show would be great, late May at the beach would be amazing. The weather is fantastic, generally in the 60's, very pleasant. I'm already seeing Phish there on June 5th so that would be great. But it would be a Live Nation show, not a Ticketmaster show.

You guys like Jones Beach? ugh I hate that place, the sound horrible. Liam did throw his tambourine into the ocean there in 1996! As much as it would thrill me to bits have a Oasis play Long Island again.. I hope not!

The only show I've seen there was Clapton in June and I had passes so I suppose it wasn't really a realistic Jones Beach experience...It would be nice to not have to take a train to the city to see Oasis though.

I was talking to someone who saw the boys in 96 at the Beach, said it was great. I have a boot of one of the nights, and I'm fairly sure that Liam is drunk. But nevertheless, still a really cool place to see them.

It strikes me as a bit odd that for their reunion tour, Blink 182 would want to open for another band. Wouldn't the theory be that they'd want to do their own headlining tour for THEIR fans and grab the marquee each time? From a fiscal point of view and from a media point of view, opening for Weezer doesn't make sense.

this is where they dissapoint me the most.they goto every big city but fail to acknowledge the smaller cities just because there wasn't a huge turn out?chicken shits >:(only thinking about stuffing their pocket & not about trying to please the fans must be nice to be that shallow & not realize it.
