It didn't reach the top ten. Disappointing. Especially since this is a band that has had top tens for the majority of their career.
>.> I honestly think they should just release the Turning and promote that thing to death. IOT could have done much better had they done that. And actually released at a decent time too.

I was thinking earlier today about this and I recalled how after SOTSOG people generally said how the majority of Oasis sales were only to the fan base, and not to the casual, non-fan listeners.
Now add that fact to that most people here and on other forums were quite upset when it was announced that there would be no new b-sides, and as a result would not buy the single. I wonder how much of an impact that boycott really had.
12 sucks but as a positive I hope the band realize that they should not jerk their fans around and think that anything they put out will sell huge because it has Oasis stamped on it. I think a lot of good can come from this.

You can say what you want, but I dont think the band really gives a shit. They´ve always been like that, so why would it be different now. Noel once said he´d passed the torch on. Wonder who he gave it to...

I think they're doing very well if it's just the fans buying it. They obviously know that there'll be some value to it in years to come as physical keeps on dying.

Number 12 serves them right for taking the piss out of the fans and generally being lazy twats.

If the next single has a b-side, it'll go straight to number one.

To be fair I'm Outta Time received no promotion at all in the UK. I've yet to hear it on the radio or on the music channels.
The timing was very poor.

It fell off the top 40 today, faster than LDSMD and TSOTL.
All the greatest songs and albums are always received poorly in the beginning, so don't put yourselves down because it's doing so poorly.

Number 12 serves them right for taking the piss out of the fans and generally being lazy twats. In this instance, I totally agree. What a shit single, all of the remixes are garbage. Used to look forward to buying their singles too, only band I would.

Well, look at it this way, it's going to be hard to find those remixes in the future, so I suggest to buy them anyway. I think they know that the single is dying, so why bother adding to the cost of production?

Yeah right, I'll bet all of the money in my right pocket that these remixes will be re-posted many times in these forums, other Oasis forums, and other blogs for ages. People still report those shit, unofficial remixes from the 90s! She's Electric sexy mix? Fuck off! I do agree with that other fellow, anyone who isn't a completionist doesn't need this in their collection at all.

I have bought both the newest singles... both straight onto the shelf and will never be listened to.
I just had the go let it out single CD on... now that was £2.99 well spent.
