I couldn't find a thread about this subject. Forgive me if there does exist one though.
Anyways, here's some information on it:
More information on 'Standing On The Edge Of The Noise'
MUSIC: Oasis On: 4Music (D) Date: Sunday 23rd November 2008 Time: 8:00 pm to 9:05 pm (UK)
I've got this information of Stopcryingyourheartout.net.
It's aparantly the intimate rehearsal show they did some time before Dig Out Your Soul. I couldn't help but notice, that it has been edited down to one hour. Hopefully, we'll still get a nice version of My Big Mouth, as that was being played there.

Sweet. Shame about the title. Thank fuck they didn't use it for the album.

Indeed it would be a horrible title! But I didn't know it was the rehearsal.... and if it's only one hour long they'll probably show the hits.... I guess we'll have to wait a little more for My Big Mouth

At first I thought Noel was joking about using that phrase as the album title, but now that it's come up several times in the middle of other serious options, I'm afraid he might have been serious.

It'd have been totally bizarre for them to have two albums called "Standing On..." [something] It's a cool title, but it's good they didn't use it.
I like "Dig Out Your Soul"... 'cause here we GO!

I think they should release it as a live dvd. And you're right, Liam does sound very good on Rock'n'Roll Star!

When Liam has time to rest his voice, thats how he sounds. Those two clips posted above (TSOTL and Rock n Roll Star) are amazing vocal performances by Liam. I dont think Liam can play 4 gigs a week and be on top form anymore. He needs times to rest those vocals, especially the way he sings

Why are they playing Lyla and Meaning of Soul still? Pointless.
They should drop Rock N Roll Star, and play Fade Away or summat instead.

But I think Lyla is a damn good live song. At least when your there anyway. I thought it was the best song from the Wembley 16th show. That's not to say it was the best song vocally. As for Rock'n'Roll Star. They need to keep this in their setlist. It really gets the crowd going!

A lot of the current setlist needs to be dropped. are you serious? They should drop Lyla, cause Liam can't sing it. He's miles better than 2005 and he's still butchering it. The Meaning Of Soul is pointless as they're played Ain't Got Nothin' which is a better song and is pretty similar. I'm Outta Time was good for a bit, but more often than not Liam's not doing it justice. I think they should drop it, play The Turning or something in it's place, and sometimes switch them around a bit. Slide Away often has shit vocals too, but they need to play it as it's fucking Slide Away. Not much need for Songbird either. It's alright but hardly an epic moment in the live set. It's only there to keep Liam happy anyway, cause he wrote it and he can sing it easily. And Noel loves it, I suppose. How about they play another acoustic song with Liam on vocals? Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, anyone? Don't Look Back In Anger (acoustic) is brilliant, but they could play some other songs in there as well. Maybe they shouldn't drop it, but they could certainly play some other semi-acoustic ones in that slot as well. Falling Down is a great song, but doesn't work live at all. They should just drop it. I know Noel's really proud of it but it's boring and the vocals are pitiful. They could play several other songs there. Rock 'n' Roll Star should not be dropped, whoever said that, it's their best gig opener ever. Imagine if they played this: 1. Rock 'n' Roll Star 2. The Hindu Times3. The Shock of the Lightning 4. Cigarettes and Alcohol 5. Acquiesce6. To Be Where There's Life 7. Waiting For The Rapture 8. The Masterplan 9. Guess God Thinks I'm Abel/Songbird (interchange?) 10. Slide Away 11. Morning Glory 12. Ain't Got Nothing 13. The Importance of Being Idle 14. Rockin' Chair (a full step down so Liam can sing it) 15. Wonderwall 16. My Big Mouth 17. Supersonic Encore: 18. Don't Look Back In Anger (acoustic)/ Listen Up (acoustic)19. The Turning20. Live Forever21. Champagne Supernova 22. I Am The Walrus

This is the question that Oasis fans can't understand. Oasis will never change the setlist. Things that disappear from it aren't likely to return We aren't even going to hear Gas Panic!, Stand By Me, or The Hindu Times again.......

well, they dropped supersonic for a long time and then they started playing it again by the end of last tour (since San Pablo 2006) I personally wouldn't mind having a break from Wonderwall or Lyla

This is the question that Oasis fans can't understand. Oasis will never change the setlist. Things that disappear from it aren't likely to return We aren't even going to hear Gas Panic!, Stand By Me, or The Hindu Times again....... Look, they always changed their setlist a little bit. On the Morning Glory tours the setlist changed nearly nightly, though not very much. Similar on the Definitely Maybe tour. BHN tour was pretty stagnant. SOTSOG had a fair bit of variation for the first half of it, then stayed more or less, only changing for the gigs where Noel left. HC was actually fairly good, with 43 songs played over the tour, I think. DBTT was fucking apalling, but still had a bit of variation. This never-change-the-setlist at all thing is new. They were always shit with setlists compared to lots of bands, but never this bad. It's a pity, because the level of performance has definitely gone up. They will change the setlist anyway, it will be fairly different by the time they play the stadiums next year. I doubt they'll vary it then either.
