Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but HC must surely be Oasis' worst album? What other album can rival the shitness of She Is Love, A Quick Peep, Force of Nature, (Probably) All In The Mind, Better Man and (arguably) BOADC? I know the singles do save it to some extent, but no other Oasis album has anywhere near as much poor quality filler as HC. Well, you may view those songs as filler, but I find that most of those songs (except She Is Love and FON) amazing. I think that DBTT, SOTSOG, and DOYS all have their share of filler. I mean, I have heard adequate amount of criticism of TSOTL (which I love) High Horse (2nd worst song EVER) TBWTL AGN (which is awesome) Nature of Reality (Oasis' worst song to date) Soldier On Now, that list rivals the list of "filler" on HC. If that's the case, why is HC rated so much more poorly than DOYS? Likewise with DBTT (which everyone seemed to love when it came out........) My only suggestion is that everyone likes DOYS because it is new, and not because it is actually really really amazing

HC - 3.5/5 SOTSOG is probably the most underrated album of all time I'm sorry, but I Can See A Liar, Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is, and Little James automatically make it impossible for this album to be anywhere near the top 5 Oasis albums...... And how you dont rate DM is beyond me

I agree with L4E.... but it's opinion. And I have soft spot for SOTSOG. It's probably the Oasis album I listen to most often

It's nostalgia, if DM came out at the time of BHN these lists would look different.

DM isn't over rated!
Classics = RNRS, Live Forever, Supersonic, Bring It On Down, Columbia, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Slide Away.
Shakermaker, Up In The Sky and Married with Children are all quality songs too. Digsy's Dinner isn't great, but it's not that bad either, certainly better than the likes of Ain't Got Nothin' and Nature of Reality.

What I'm saying is, I think a lot of people put DM ahead of WTSMG purely because DM came first and it was the debut album.

No. Most people have DM and WTSMG tied, as do I However, DM gets the edge not for nostalgic reasons but because I prefer the rock albums over the anthem ones. That's what it comes down to - do you prefer raw rock or polished anthems? And any way, while both albums are virtually tied, DM is still ever so strong....WTSMG has those filler tracks - the few pointless instrumentals, etc And since my first album was BHN, that proves my point that - for me at least - ranking DM as first is not because of nostalgia. Come off it.
