Where are the rest of the band? at least the shadow of noel playing the solo would have been nice, its a 6 out 10 for me this video that's very generous Agreed, Eva. I'd struggle to give this 3 out of 10. Seriously underwhelming and doesn't add to the tune at all. The whispering still looks totally shit.  |

Its a great song, with a shitty video. I was hoping the video would be good, because this song could have an awesome video, but This video doesnt do the song any justice. Its gonna make people not like the song as much when its released

Sounds like we have a bunch of haters on this video. It clearly is an above average video. Many Oasis fans on here like to see better than above average from their favorite band. Like the video for what it is and if you don't like it then don't watch it.

IMO, the video makes the song more boring and depressing than it is. it's well filmed -all that technical stuff it's ok- but the vid is nothing special.
in a video I expect something else that makes me wanna keep watching it. also, I know it's a Liam song and he absolutely owns it, but a bit of appearance by the rest of the band wouldn't hurt

The video is weird, in my opinion. What the heck's up with random shots of butterflies and foxes and all that nonsense? I felt like I was watching a video for my Biology class.
And then there's this shot where they focus on Liam's face for 30 seconds, and he's moving his mouth ever so slightly, just to give the impression he knows the words. Very uncomfortable, that shot.
Don't get me wrong, the imagery is beautiful and I think the video gets better towards the last half. But it was just..weird. I can't put it any plainer than that.
I don't know, maybe I'm not seeing something that others do.

The only BHN vid I liked was AATW.

Not a hater, but seriously...Liam can't be bothered to even try, let alone lipsync the words? Best videos were the BHN days...by far. This video makes the Songbird video look like an epic vid.
Sometimes I wish Oasis put a little more effort into their videos. This doesn't hold a candle to DYKWIM or WFL or GLIO vids.
2 out of 10. That's one point for the badass hat, one point for the special effects.

I've already stated my pure love for this video, but only because it's completely unlike any other Oasis vid. I can see the flipside however, and understand why people don't like it. ... ...it's because you're fucking crazy.  Just kidding! I get that it's not a "story" video. It's just Liam walking around a field, then lying down and listening to a record player. I know in my head I had a different picture of what kind of video I would have preferred, but I still think for Oasis it's pretty great... It's no Stand By Me. It's no Importance of Being Idle. Hell, it may not even be D'yer Know What I Mean, but IMO the video (and Liam) look cool as fuck, and the lack of colour, and somber nature of the video really accent the song nicely. ...here's looking forward to Falling Down!! |

I recently watched the movie called Django, an Italo-Western with Franko Neri...there is another movie ou of these series...Django is played by some Italian guy...the movie os cool as fuck..from the 70's...
They first I thought as I watched Django was...man, that's where Liam Gallagher stole the idea of a look....the same person. I assume Liam likes Italo-Western films, like Django-
