Liam struggled at beggining of Outta Time, could see he was getting annoyed with himself. Towards end the vocal sounded alright though

I admire all of the positive comments on this thread, but i thought the gig on a whole was a bit shit , i got myself really excited all day yesterday waiting for it, cancelled on my mates to go out and got some beers in, by the time he started to sing lyla i could sense the gig was gonna lack any sort of energy, and im not having this "they are not 25 anymore" nonsense, its only been 3 years since the DBTT tour and that had so much more spirit and energy, and Noel looked like he was actually enjoying himself on that tour. Mick jagger is not 25 anymore he is about 107 and still fuckin has it on stage
I thought Liam sang some of the new songs quite well and did a good job on wonderwall and champagne supernova, but im slightly worried that his voice will disintegrate in the future and will not be able to sing live anymore cos it sounded so strained last night i was cringing at some points.
And again the whole "hes not 25 anymore" is fair enough but noel isnt 25 anymore and his voice is actually better now than 10 years ago, they are my favourite band in the world and always will be, and im always rooting for liam to nail a vocal, maybe he might require some sort of surgery in the future for his voice like elton john had to get it back to near its best again.
All in all im lovng that they are back and loving the new album

At one point i kinda wanted Liam to sit down and just let Noel do all the singing, cos as usual Noel was on top form again last night.
To be fair though, Liam did sound good on TBWTL and Wonderwall and a couple of others.
Falling Down and TBWTL were stunning live though..
Andy looked sooooooooo bored all night and i could tell Gem was knida pissed off at Liam at times to...

Slightly dissapointed, thought they was gonna pull out all the stops with being it at Wembley and all and live on MTV. I expected them to mix up the set list a bit with a least one different song and fuck MTV for cutting Don't Look Back In Anger.

TBWTL was actually very good - I find the album version a bit of a plod but was good last night. Falling Down was ace as well.
The sound overall was not great though - whenever Noel was playing acoustic the mix went to shit, Gem's guitar coming through very loud and drowning it out. Liam's voice was dodgy in places, though his "best number three" comment was funny (if you ask me TSOTL is well over-rated by the band. I know most won't agree with me but it's an average tune).
Noel did look a bit bored. Chris was the interesting one to watch, for me - he totally went for it! A much more energetic type of drummer than Zak or Whitey. He was drenched in sweat by the end of Lyla and at the end of a few tunes looked like he was about to keel over with exertion.

I thought Oasis were superb last night, I was sat on the left side of the arena in the top tier and it sounded amazing from where I was. I think the only thing that was a downer on the gig was the setlist.... one or two too many songs from DOYS. Needs a couple from Be Here Now The setlist needs a big refresh in my opinion. Maybe chuck in a few surprises and mix it up a bit. I agreed with the earlier comment that the midsection of the gig is a bit of a plod-along.. I'd love to hear Acquiesce come back along with Fade Away or Headshrinker...justsomething a bit different

you are nuts guys I don't hear anything wrong from the mp3 rip Be honest will ya? OK listen to Supersonic from FTM 2000 and then listen to tonights Supersonic come back and BE HONEST!!! FTM was doctored though....last night was live...big difference...Liam was not at his best last night...it happens, its a long tour...he had a cold, a sore throat whatever...it was only really IOT that was bad...he really struggled there but then the next song his voice seemed great...I don't think the breaks help him!!

There is not long term future for the band to play live unless something gets done about his voice as its only gonna get worse in years to come

I'll make a prediction here and say "THIS IS THE FINAL TOUR" I can only see his voice get worse and Noel won't have it. I think another acoustic tour after this and maybe a Noel solo album. It pains me to say this. Unless Liam gets some sort of surgery??

Liam struggled at beggining of Outta Time, could see he was getting annoyed with himself. Towards end the vocal sounded alright though too bad, he must really feel bad i think that he can't nail it live... but didn't he sound almost like on the record doin it a few gigs back (forget which one) from a fan recording? and why on earth did he say 'nice one' at the end of it? was he serious, or just taking the piss? because i thought he only said that when he nails a vocal

Liam's voice is now rubbish. People must face that.
But, as disappointing as it is, if you accept that fact then you can at least still enjoy them. If you go in to these live gigs with any delusional expectations of him sounding like he did pre-2001 or so, you'll be very disappointed...

being out of tune in a song has nothing to do with his voice but his own skill,it wasnt awful at all but ill tell ya what ,if people constantly keep goin on abouot this then the lads will pack in,liams voice has got older its as simple as that, yeh its abit rougher, but has noel said his voice has changed an they have to deal with it.yeh he was abit out on im outta time but they havent been playing it that long an its a very hard song to sing after all the stuff hes belted out before, try doing a high pitch vocal after rnrs ,lyla, tsotl,mg etc,its very difficult.it is what it is,just enjoy the gig an people must really be concentrating on his vocal at these gigs i mean, there must be twats really stood in the middle of thousands trying to listen if hes in time!!for fucks sake get real.all rock singers grow with age, bono i alf the vocalist, bon jovi is terrible(they drop down 4 keys on some songs)daltrey, plant, all have calmed dwn in there stlye, but youve gotta remember liams technique is something that doesnt help, the man used t literally be tearing his vocal chords, just let it be

listening to the gig again, this time on the hi-fi, ,, totally agree with everyone else on chris sharrock, the drumming is simply SUPERB. really puts the pop and groove back into the classics, just like whitey used to... nice move by noel... now it is time for chief to sign him up for the long-term. i think as a whole the band sounded very very good... also like the 'new' intro on champagne supernova,, kinda abit like the record, eh? also agree that the new songs sound great as well (well, except iot, c'mon liam, sort it out) ,, i know that they prolly wont add bag it up but holding out hope for the turning, and hey what about high horse lady?
