I have never been a massive fan of the beatles, i prefer their earlier stuff and their big hits are great so the other day i decided after reading this thread to listen to Rubber Soul for the first time.

Apart from a couple of songs, i was pretty bored by the album. If oasis produced something like that id be very dissapointed.

Yes the Beatles were massive and still are and will always be classed by the masses as one of the greatest if not the greatest band ever.

But Rubber Soul or DOYS.....the latter for me every single time.
