Hahahahahahahaha indeed. Now we're talking about IOT being in the same league as The Masterplan, are we? THE MASTERPLAN?!?!??! One of - if not possibly THE - best songs Noel has ever written? Delusional. Utterly. moorish, wtf is your deal? Not everyone has to think that The Masterplan is better than Im Outta Time. Im Outta Time is in the same league with The Masterplan IMO. Maybe you dont feel the same way, but that doesnt mean im a delusional fan. Get over yourself mate, not everyone should have the same opinions. Get over YOURself, touchy! I didn't say you weren't entitled to your opinion. Just that I find your opinion laughable. Look, IOT is a good song. Don't get me wrong. But better than The Masterplan...? Tee hee!

Your thoughts that IOT is in the same league as The Masterplan is your opinion. And you're definitely entitled to it. As is anyone else on this forum. But The Masterplan being in a whole other league than IOT is a fact. It's the definition of a fact . . . So now you need a dictionary to look up both 'appreciation' and 'fact'.

Outta Time comes off to me as a close relative to Stop Crying Your Heart Out. The latter is a great song but it's slightly forced, whereas Outta Time seems more genuine.

Are you fucking serious? You really think IOT is better than The Masterplan?? lol. You may prefer IOT to TM. But TM is a better song. There's a difference . . . you may prefer other DOYS to Im Outta Time, but Im Outta Time is still the best song on the album. see I can do it too. Its still kind of opinion tho. I think the production on The Masterplan is what really makes the song, the melody is decent and Noel's vocals are great, but the production is the best part of the song. Without it, itd just be another Noel sung acoustic track. lol. Ok man. If people really think that IOT is better than The Masterplan, then good for you. I'm sorry to hear it. But more power to you. It's arguably not even the best song on the album. But anyways. If you want another example: I prefer/like Oasis more than The Beatles. But The Beatles are clearly a better band. So think of it like that. Just pretend that The Masterplan is The Beatles and IOT is Sum 41 and there you go. Oasis is clearly better, but if you like Sum 41 more then great!

Ah, but saying that (without the production) The Masterplan is just "another Noel sung acoustic track", is like saying that 'A Bigger Grand Canyon' is just another painting by David Hockney, or The Unbearable Lightness of Being is just another novel by Milan Kundera. All are masters at what they do, they are, unquestionably, first rate artists. Nonetheless, it is these pieces that are considered to be amongst their best work. I'm Outta Time is a standout track from Liam Gallagher. But a standout track from Liam doesn't compare to a standout track from the General.
