I really like the new album ...Its not a great cd but good. Oasis's first 3 cds had no fillers... I could sit down and listen to the whole cd. This cd I find myself only listening to 6 of 11 tracks. Most band I would be very happy with 6 out of 11... I was hoping it would be a perfect cd like the last 3. The negative responses I have got from my friends kinda shocked me. Most of them love the songs I have introduced them to. This time they told me to turn it off it was awful. Now granted this isnt a great gauge of an album but it really shocked me. I love liam's voice on the cd though. So much better than DBTT.... A bell will ring is hard to listen to because of how much liam struggles with that song. Overall though Im happy with the cd, I guess thats the important part.....And yes I will buy it !

I like digsy's dinner.. It is really fun to play on the guitar... Actually one of the more creative songs noel has written musically on the guitar. I LOVE BE HERE NOW... There all NO fillers on that cd....Track one is great ..track 12 is great and all the ones inbetween...There are no wierd unlistenable tracks such as GOYHHL or SO on Be Here Now

i think there's a lot of problems with BHN. hence DBTT is a better album imo. we'll see about DOYS

this album is an instant classic on par with MG and not as great as DM. That's my opinion. My initial reactions to it were better than to any other oasis album. When I first heard MG I only cared for WW, SMS, CS... when I first heard BHN I was fucking tired of it by Fade In-Out... when I first gor DM I hated BIOD, Shakermaker.... I could go on, this album is SOLID, I don't care for other people's opinion, to each their own and it's my opinion that people who aren't digging this would've loved Oasis recording a poor imitation of BHN or DM.... anyway, each and every song on it is pure gold and I have felt this way about just a handful of records
WELL DONE OASIS...

I LOVE BE HERE NOW... There all NO fillers on that cd... If The Girl in the Dirty Shirt isn't filler then I don't know what is... Amazing pre-chorus. Shame they didn't rearrange it, half of it is dull as a grey office morning, the other has real potential.

I dont think there are fillers on DOYS but some very strange songs like Soldier On and Nature of Reality. oh Ok.. Ain't Got Nothin' is almost a filler.

I LOVE BE HERE NOW... There all NO fillers on that cd... If The Girl in the Dirty Shirt isn't filler then I don't know what is... Too right. Not to mention Don't Go Away, Magic Pie, and Be Here Now are such weak tunes. The album version of Fade-In-Out sucks too. It sounds like a fucking western instead of the absolutely bone crushing mammoth it was live.

The first time I listened to it, at the point of the guitar solo during 'The Turning', I was thinking that this album is up there with the very best. Perhaps the best opening two tracks to an Oasis album.
A good album, with some great moments.

I'll put it this way...You're gonna have pick and choose who you play this album for. If you know your friend like the more pop/rock Oasis then why would you expect them to like DOYS? It's like playing Revolver and Sgt Peppers for all the girls who loved the early, clean-cut Beatles.
For instance, I know my friends who are into Radiohead will fuckin love this album. But I wouldn't play it for the ones who only like the anthems

Till To Be Where There's Life is an epic album, but then the last three are just well-produced b-sides.

you sometimes disagree but understand why someone thinks the way they do, but how in the he11 can someone not like BE HERE NOW>? Also to imply DBTT is better than BE HERE NOW is freakin insane... I wish to god Noel would write another song in the same mold as I hope, I think, I know!

CNS is a good song, very good, but it isn't great, it isn't a classic and if it had been on a post 97 record it would've been slagged off... imo DOYS has at least 6 or 7 songs that are better than CNS or She's electric. People just think that every song on the first 2 records is so great and untouchable but they're not... That's my point

Filler songs are like 'She Is Love', 'Force of Nature' etc.
Just because you don't like a song doesn't mean that it's a filler.
