Fuck me sideways...I guess the record companys banking on the fact that most Oasis fans are now in their late 20s/early 30s (a % of us, not all) and can afford crap like "The Super Deluxe" version lol, which I'll be buying... Any snaps of these items yet?

Time to start saving now. I thought Radiohead's $80 was steep, geez. Depending on what's on that 2nd CD, and whether it will be available elsewhere, I may have to pass, but if there's exclusive tracks that won't show up as b-sides, I may be screwed, since I'm a completist. What's $200, not like we'd have to shell that type of scratch out for another three years at least. What am I saying, that is ridiculous, no matter what. I will wait for official confirmation.

At the very least, someone will rip whatever is on the Oasis 2nd CD, so for people not willing to buy it, at least they can hear the tracks. I am waiting to see if that is the solid price and to find out exactly whats in it (details) before deciding, but Im leaning towards getting it already. I took my CC out, but am going to wait to see if this is the actual finalized price, or if other retailers will have it cheaper. They have the "standard" Deluxe listed at £50.99 (just DVD and CD) and that seems a little off the mark for something like that. Since Radiohead's "super deluxe" was only £40, and this one is more than double that, they better hope something is in it that can't be gotten anywhere else.

at any rate, if this 2nd disc contains exclusive material, thats probably Notorious L.4.E's best bet of seeing Record Machine and/or Stop the Clocks released this era lol
If theres nothing exclusive to it, I will pass, but it almost has to contain it for this price. Anything less than what Radiohead released (8 exclusive tracks on the 2nd CD) and its not worth it to me, especially considering their Discbox was only £40.

If the super deluxe really is 2 CDs + 1 DVD, I doubt it'll be over $70 even
1 CD tends to cost $20, same as a DVD....so 2(20)+20 = $60
No way in hell is it gonna be $200....0r $100 for that matter. Have no idea where those stupidily high prices are coming from

My question is: who the hell has $200 to spend on an Oasis super deluxe version of the album?

Having said that though, the verve are releasing virtually the same boxset for their album, only missing cd 2, and they're only charging £40, so even though i'll pay £100 for oasis, seems £60 for an extra cd is a lot to charge.

Dig out your soul: limited (cd/dvd) CD/DVD in hardback book style package with 24 page booklet, suspended wallets at the front & back to hold cd & dvd, shrinkwrapped & stickered. price: £50.99 What the fuck?? That CANNOT be the right price. That's basically what you got for the DBTT DVD edition (it was like hardback book, CD in front, DVD in the back) and it was nowhere near 50 quid. If this turns out to be true then it's a total rip-off and just milking the fans.
