Now it's a well accepted fact that oasis wouldn't be the band they are if the Beatles didn't exist.
Many people on this board seem to think that while oasis are their favourites, the beatles are superior.
But are They!!?
For instance: What beatles songs could hold their own against live forever, slide away, the masterplan, don't look back in anger, wonderwall? It's seems oasis's one songwriter comes up trumps here against two of the greatest songwriters of all time
And while Beatles albums are consistently great, none match DM and WTS MG for epicness!!!

Beatles by miles. The sheer amount of classic tunes and albums shit all over Oasis not only that but the impact they had on music and who they influenced shits all over what impact Oasis had on music and who they influenced.

Its about the innovation, The Beatles innovated, Oasis followed up with what they did. At the height of their fame, they were what The Beatles would have been if they were a band in the 1990's

I'll give it the Beatles but Oasis are still my favourite band. DM is my favourite album ever. Yes even Revolver cant stand up to it! I also like the personalities in Oasis more. I find the Gallaghers more interesting as individuals. Also that whole punk aspect appeals to me on a more primal level. Lets have a look at their first singles:
Supersonic> Love Me Do
Shakermaker> Please Please Me
Live Forever> From Me To You
She Love You> C&A
