Look ye americans understand Oasis as much as your American upbringing/ non British can allow. So fair play to you. All I'm saying is if you lived in Britain you can see,taste,smell and feel every oasis song in the cobbled streets,suburban gardens,dole struck communities etc etc

I think this guy from ireland fails to make the connections that "webmaster" runs this site. webby is american. this site is the largest oasis fansite in the world, and that's the one he was referring to.
It just seems so stupid to sit here and watch this guy make a fool of himself.

Ive to slightly agree with gottahavefun re this topic. You americans will enjoy Oasis 99% as much as us Brits but we've got that little tiny bit more knowledge of the relevance of the songs.

for one the arctic monkeys are manufactured shit!!knowhere near oasis in terms of everything(culture,songs,etc) also the americans understand the music but i dont think they got the attitude i.e the sliding record sales but ive got a feeling that they are on the up again in the states,the respect is coming back an ive a feeling the sales will be back slowly.if them songs are anything to go on the they are what the general american public listen to

There is no fake Oasis Heady (can I call you that). But as an american you can't relate to some of the deeper aspects in the oasis songs that are quintessentially British.
