STC is almost certain to be on it:
- Noel ALMOST put it on DBTT which means it's he's almost ready to release it. Surely 3 years later will make that difference
-Noel has teased us with naming the greatest hits STC
-Noel has teased us further by printing part of the lyrics to STC within the greatest hits
Record Machine WILL be on it:
-It's one of the strongest rumors that we have
-Noel has talked about it quite a bit, and talked about it being a potential closer
Boy With The Blues:
-This one is the least likely of the three, but still likely
-Almost made DBTT, Noel and Liam both proud of it

Stop The Clocks (5/10): It may be the same case as why it wasn't released on Don't Believe The Truth. Noel can't seem to make up his mind whether he wants it on the new album or won't. I really hope he will this time though, because, in spite of all the hype around this song lately (Which I believe have destroyed this song for many of you on this board), this really is my most anticipated Oasis song.
Boy With The Blues (8/10): I really hope this song will be on it, and if it is as described, it could turn up to be a great summer single. I don't see why this shouldn't be on the new album, as it was considered for a summer EP in '06. Noel said they have to work some more on it, which I'm pretty sure they've done by now.
I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine (8/10): If this really is the new All Around The World, I'm really hoping it to be included on the new album. I think we definitely need another really long guitar epic!

I'd say
9/10 for Wanna Live a Dream... (Noel recently confirmed)
7/10 for Boy With The Blues (Noel said something about Liam's greatest song but he never named it)
6/10 for Stop The Clocks (Noel hasen't mention it for a while now, but the tease in the "best of" it's just too big to be ignored)

Yes, Liam might get some help on his songs. But he is evolving into a really great songwriter. I actually enjoy all of his songs.

Why is everyone so convinced STC wont be on the album? cos it's existed since around the heathen chemistry era, and still hasn't been used. meaning it isn't very good or they just can't seem to get it right so they're just giving up on it and doing different tunes. it's pretty unlikely it'll be on there but i hope it comes out eventually |

Well...that explains why you think he is a good songwriter some of his tunes are good thanks to Gem, not because of himself who gives a shit if gem or even god helps him to make the songs...thats no the point....they are good, he has good sense of melody and the songs he has nailed in the last 2 records are very good, the whole point was that you said Boy with blues is a liam song so it would suck, im saying who cares if hes got help, he writes good tunes for the band and has contributed alot to the band lately (not saying his a better songwriter than noel) but hes a new air in the band same as gem and andy. and please post a song of yours then, let me enjoy them and become a fan Mr. Mozart or maybe we can make it more interesting ....let me tell you what, i put one of me songs in an acoustic guitar against one of yours, and let the forum decide  (lets hope your not noel Gallagher in a low profile pretending to be a fan) ;D  |
