Let's get one thing clear, Noel has NOT confirmed that Record Machine will be on the album, or indeed, commented on it any time in the last three years. The only mention of that song have been in newspaper and magazine articles. The song was mentioned on the Wikipedia article on the new record as a possible before both were published, and the laziness of music journalists mean that it's entirely possible that both articles were total speculation.

Who knows, this could mean none of these could be on the album.

LDSMD on the album? Why?

It's pretty stupid if so, for many reasons. But one that most will overlook is the fact that if Oasis ever release a one-off single, as LDSMD was - $2 and only online - noone will buy it.....

agreed, doesn't sound quite right... [quote/] In one word, he described the album as "psychedelic" [/quote] well, LDSMD certainly doesn't fit that bill... and from all previous accounts BWTB sounds like more of a rocker... also Stop The Clocks as an opener? i would think that it would fit in more nicely somewhere in the middle, or near the end, right before Record Machine ... that would allow the record to build a bit

I strongly believe that this interview was confirmed a fake, as it was posted around the same time the tennis players submitted those incredibly accurate and believable seventh album reviews. I also believe this wasn't actually released in Q magazine either.

I also believe this wasn't actually released in Q magazine either. Correct. The easy thing to look out for is the mention of Oasis "new label Universal", when Noel himself told the BBC in the same interview as the Jay-Z at Glastonbury comments, that they still hadn't got a new record label.

That Q interview was fake but I'm pretty sure Noel DID confirmed Record Machine in some other interview... otherwise, why would we be talking so much about it and not mentioning songs like The Magic Can't be Right or Don't Be Down which Noel presented at the same time as Record Machine? I'm not sure where, but I'm pretty sure somewhere down the line Noel confirmed only that song in the new album...

Record Machine 8.5/10 Stop The Clocks 6.5/10 Boy With The Blues 7/10
I'm want to hear all of them one day. But I can't wait to hear some other tunes such as Gem and Andys or an unheard Noel or Liam track

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't the one who wrote the Daily Star album preview use all those fake album previews on here as his source or something like that?

IMO boy with the blues is by far the most likely of the three. They nearly released it as a single. the other two I'd say are less likely; I think STC has a little bit better of a chance than record machine though.
