Come on people, think about it, there is no way that it'll be out in september, they are mixing the album as we speak & will be fiished quite soon, it'll be released sooner as it'll leak if its finished. Why would they release an album 6 months after its finished? Noel said on that jonesys interview that they only have a couple of weeks left mixing out in LA.
My money is on a june/july release

But if you remember the timing of DBTT. This time 3 years ago (March 2005) they first few leaks were doing the rounds - the polish radio leak of Lyla if I remember correctly? DBTT was released at the end of May, so there was a good deal of information - album title, interviews, and leaks a good 2-3 months prior to the release date Here we are now in March 2008, awaiting the next record. But what's different is that we have NO information. We don't even have an album title yet...not even a confirmed press released date!!!! DBTT schedule seemed fantastically perfect: late spring release, followed by a summer world tour If they do release this in September, surely no tour until 2009 then? And by that time the excitement and enthusiasm of the 2008 lp will have vanished, especially if it's a disappointing album. May/June makes the most sense, but the signs aren't looking good |

I´m also looking forward to the day when the "Lord" tells us the tracklist of the new album,whitout Stop the clocks,Boy with the blues and record machine!!! Isn't there an official date somewhere stating the album will be released in Portugal or Spain on Universal in September?
September seems likely to me. Also goes to explain the rumours of playing the O2 Arena in London.

But from the sounds of what's been going on in LA as of late, they haven't been having problems. Only thing I can see is that they'd get done sometime in the next few months and then they'd have most of summer to chill with family before touring. Noel's got a lil kid now and I bet he probably wants to see as much of him as he can before he's off on a year long world tour. |

I'm sure Noel wants to have some time to spend with his son and since Liam & Nic just got married perhaps they want time together as well before a world tour happens. Just something to think about. |

The best part of the interview with Brand is when Noel said Liam was saying, "We're back. We're back." I can't remember if Noel said Liam was hugging him also.
Maybe Liam gets all excited for each album but I kinda doubt it. Thats encouraging. Of course Noel said, "We didn't go anywhere. Where are we back from." But hopefully he's excited about the record as well. Truly excited, because he must notice the difference between WTSMG and DBTT.
