I've been obsessed with this song today. Ended up listening to the album too actually.

I think Paul Weller might've ripped off the intro for Sunflower

^ I love both Felt and Go Kart Mozart, but ELO got there before both of them (the intro) with this stupendous tune which was Roy Wood's attempt to play Jimi Hendrix riffs on a cello.

I think Paul Weller might've ripped off the intro for Sunflower No doubt. I'm listening to Black Ship In The Harbour. Love his voice and guitar work. Thanks once again for the recommendation.

Sometimes you just want a blast of pure, badass pop.

I think Paul Weller might've ripped off the intro for Sunflower Haha. It's undeniable. At least he admits to it:

I think this is my favourite song Lennon ever wrote, including his stuff with The Beatles. It appeals so much to the hippie in me.

A terrific tune. @driver7, you might gonna like it too. Thanks, didn't realise they've released a new song! I'll check it out. I actually saw the band live once in a very small venue and liked them a lot. At the time i had no idea who they were but i digged their shoegaze sound and the fact that their guitarist reminded me of young Thurston Moore and their singer was really pretty

At the time i had no idea who they were but i digged their shoegaze sound and the fact that their guitarist reminded me of young Thurston Moore and their singer was really pretty I've never heard of them until yesterday. My most favourite current band The Twilight Sad posted this song on their twitter saying "Glasgow, go to see them. You'll thank me later", so I checked them and bloody hell, it's awesome! and singer has such a beautiful voice. Sometimes I wish I had more time (and ears) to discover (new) great music.
