Bold
The best song Liam has ever written and the best song from As You Were.

Once (original demo).
So so so much better than the album version and I love the album version too.

Listening to Cast No Shadow from MTV Unplugged as I type. I can't find a word to describe how good it is.

Best new song I've heard this year. Can't stop listening to it.

Love the sense of urgency in elbow's latest stuff. You looking forward to the new album, matt?

Love the sense of urgency in elbow's latest stuff. You looking forward to the new album, matt? I really love this, feels a bit like early Elbow. I think they’d reached a natural conclusion with the sprawling, contemplative, mellow sound of Take Off & Landing (an album that I absolutely love) and they seem to be reverting to a bit more of a harder sound. A bit punchier. This reminds me a bit of the track Leaders of the Free World. It’s different without being different for the sake of it. I never understand acts who just try to rewrite the same album time and time again, and it’s stuff like this that I love because it feels reinvigorating and fresh, making you enjoy an act I’ve enjoyed for years without pining for the past. Great stuff, the two songs I’ve heard so far are excellent.
