;)Saw them at Hampden, Newcastle and Aberdeen. Enjoyed each for different reasons. Wondered if folk would like to share some memories and see if others enjoyed the same moments.
Hampden - Everyone singing Live Forever with Zak trying to keep up and the band just listening and Liam laughing.
And at the end Liam asking who liked Anthrax and everyone going 'eh?'
Newcastle - Noel's guitar string breaking and Liam looking over to see why he'd stopped playing and then they linked arms and dance a little reel (THIS IS TRUE) - did anyone else see it?? Did any one get it on film???

Cought the lads at 4 West Coast gigs.
Frisco~Gig was fantastic but, for me the feeling of being at St.Stephen Greens for the pre party with hardcore fans that feel about the band the same as I do. Enjoying the gig with my missus (it was her 1st Oasis gig )Class.
HollywoodBowl~Being drunk off my ass in some decent boxseats then cutting through securtiy and making my way to the row right behind the pit area and tripping on Noel do DLBIA and turing round and seeing that Hollywood Bowl sold out. at the end of the gig Noel grabbed a fans mag, with him on the cover, and signing it whilst still onstage.
San Diego~ just being right in front of Noel the whole night.
Las Vegas~ Fuck man, Vegas..... Being front row center, in front of Liam. Turing round in between songs and catching the crowd pogoing what sempt like 3ft off the ground. the energy of the band and crowd was just so there. The band let us sing Live Forever on our own then we fuck up the second verse Liam then looked over at Noel and they both just laughed. Seeing Marcus Russell at the top of one of the side stages rocking out to Cigs N Alch. (I mean for fucks sake hes been with the band since the start, has heard the song nearly a million times and still rocks out to it.) in one word IMPERIAL!!!
Souveniers at the gigs~ $200. Tickets to all four gigs ~ $280. Booze and spliff for the mini tour ~ $250. Following the lads on those 4gigs PRICELESS.

NYC, Madison Square Garden - Started off with decent floor tix then a friend of mine sold me 10th row but ended up in front row because I managed to pout/argue my way there. Stood infront of Gem & Andy (& some large speakers). I was in a state of shock the entire time (& deaf afterwards).
Philly, Festival Pier - Started off in the middle a few feet away from the stage but some rowdy teenagers were throwing beer and elbowing us all over the place. Moved towards the back and stood on chairs which ended up being a better experience. Scored 2 free tix courtesy of Steve (Liam's head bodyguard or sommat) and sold our original ones for a decent price...We essentially got paid to see Oasis!
NYC, Across The Narrows Festival - Crowd was half full, stood infront of Gem & Andy...Froze my ass off coz it was right next to the water. The band played a short so-so set...Highlight of the day was meeting Tom from Kasabian.
NJ, House Of Blues - Stayed at this swanky hotel on the boardwalk for such a bargain, ran into Jay Darlington (keyboardist) as he was coming out of a Taffy Shop...Took pix and chatted a bit...Soft-spoken bloke. Stood infront of Gem & Andy again...Crowd was very energetic but H.O.B security were fookin assholes. Made me check in my digi-cam at coatcheck eventhough it says nothing on the ticket about no cameras. Waay better than the ATN Festival. My 13th OASIS gig and counting! ;D

Madison Square Garden Things got started the day before with meeting the band at the airport. Noel rejected a request for a photo, but Liam was dead cool and posed. Had drinks that night with my buddy Ray and some other friends. Happened to be the same place that Gem and some of the Oasis entourage were at, so we had some great times. Had 13th row floor for the gig. Mind blowing time.
Boston Tweeter Center Went with my wife. Sat in the 2nd row in the 2nd section back. Great way to take everything in.
Philadelphia Festival Pier It was insanely hot. Had a great spot infront of Noel. Almost got in a fight with some little dude on shrooms. Got kicked in the back of the head by a crowd surfer and thought I lost my front teeth.
Baltimore Merriweather Front row in front of Gem. Was with Ray who had been in that same place for a good chunk of the west coast tour. Jet, Kasabian and Gem pretty much new who he was. Sammy the keyboard player for Jet came out and cheersed our beer. Highlights were seeing Kasabian for the first time even if it was briefly during My Generation and Liam handing Ray his tambourine.
Cleveland Once again front row in front of Gem. We were speaking with Gem during the set a lot. He said he'd come have a birthday drink with me the next day in NYC at the bar we met him(he didn't cuz they went to McCartney) Highlight was the crowd rushing the stage at the end. Unreal rock 'N' roll moment.
Across The Narrows Splurged for the VIP tix which led to insane amounts of alcohol being consumed. Don't remember much of it.
Atlantic City While everyone was going to Noels side, we hunkered down in our usual spot in front of Gem. Tom from Kasabian sent a song out to me and Ray both individually and then one to both of us. They are phenomanal live. Gem loved seeing us right in front of him again. I was shocked at how much banter we had throught the 3 shows. Liam was in top form again. Highlight was meeting everyone after. Noel actually posed for photo's. We spole with Liam and Gem for at least 10-15 minutes. Gem said they were coming back and that they were having the most fun tour ever. Liam said he appreciated guys like us being up front and jumping around. He said he liked the birds but it's important to have guys going nuts so people don't start thinking they're pussies. Gem apologized for missing my birthday drink. He gave Ray a Guiness which was the best tasting beer ever.
On the way...Toronto(5th row), Indy 1st row pit in our usual spot in front of Gem, Cincy (still need to upgrade), and Nashville (1st row pit in front of Liam). Here we go again! A whole lot of memories on the way.

UIC, Chicago, USA - Arrived late coz I wanted to have a few beers before the gig and thought the gates would be open later so got in pretty much after everyone. but luckly Jet hadn't yet played their set so I could manage to get at the very front of Liam right before the gig started and lucky to not get a punch at my face for doing that coz there were some pretty violent ppl down there. The band performance was top but Liam was very pissed off about the venue that couldn't sell alcohol coz it was in a uni. Crowd seemed to enjoy it but hardly someone around me was singing along or even jumping. Except for me and some really bold and tall guy that was as madferit as I was. MSG, NY, USA - Great meet up with the crew of this site. Everyone was having a good time. Got to the venue by foot with Len and his wife and Zuno. Zuno was a little scared with the security guards at the entrance coz he was recording the gig audio. So he said he was leaving it at the hotel and it was alright for us to get in first. But he managed with excelence to get in without getting caught, one minute after he was in. haha The gig was brilliant but my seats were too far on the floor. So I did miss the big screens and stuff but the band sounded very good. Noel told a joke before TIOBI that I had already heard on Chicago. Liam got a flower bouquet. Noel almost gave me a heart attack when he hit the first chords of The Swamp Song at the beginning of the gig. Very good times I had. LOOKING FORWARD TO SAO PAULO MARCH 15TH!!!!!!!!

Philly(my first ever show)- Liam's tambourine brushed over my shoulder after RNR star...then some big guy threw a bunch off people off the tambournine and gave it to his 12 year old little brother I guess. The kid certainly didnt deserve it. It was an intense little scrap. Liams should have just handed it to a girl in front..... Other than that, it was really fun being about 15 feet from liam with 4 good friends.
Columbia, MD- The highlight was definitely the extended jam with Kasabian during the end of My Generation

NYC - Madison Square Garden
I remember just being tired because I came in on the red eye from Los Angeles earlier that morning and I was afraid I'd over sleep and be late for the gig. I made this trip with my girlfriend and I called calioasis, a co-worker of mine who often posts on this site asking him for a meet up going on and he directed me over to mustang harry's. had too many newcastles, black and tan's but was ready to see em. I had floor seats in section 1. Plus I randomly met Liam the next day.
Mansfield Tweeter Center
This gig sounded better than MSG maybe because I wasn't as loaded but the crowd wasn't into it as much. Everywhere you looked you'd see a stifler lookalike.
Philly
This was fooking hot as hell. I remember just standing in pain for 5 or 6 hours until Oasis came on board. Liam dedicated Live Forever to Malcolm Glazier which I found to be hilarious, most of the crowd didn't get the reference.
San Francisco - Shoreline Amp
Finally Oasis in the West Coast!!! It had been a long time but definitely worth the wait. It was the first of four gigs with jilliam, calioasis and many others. seats weren't that great but I got my way into an empty box.
Hollywood Bowl
This will be the one that all of my other concert experiences will be judged by. I rolled in with 20+ people to preparty with us on top of anyone else who happened to stroll by. Since the Frisco gig was the previous nite we had to come in on an flight earlier that morning. Just dropped off my bags picked up the beers and headed over to the hollywood bowl. After traveling all over earlier that summer it felt good to have one in my hometown.
San Diego - Coors Amp
We were all in the Pit Section and it was loud as fook.
Vegas HOB
Right off the plane headed to the HOB and was in line from 10:50am and we ended up against the rail, sliced my hand running in. I ended up getting Noel to repsond to one of my comments in between songs. Liam was calling out my girl. All in all an excellent gig
Up Next is Mexico City. That will make 8 in the span of year. Most people I tell about it think that I am crazy, or obessesed. I tell them that I am madferrit and they continue to be puzzled.

ATLANTA - someone threw a large Union Jack on stage towards the end-- Liam draped it around his shoulders and just stood there - with his tambourine in his mouth. very clownish and cool at the same time.

MSG- What a time at Mustang Harry's. The very first person I met from this forum was kalas. I saw this big dude with long hair standing at the bar talking to a guy who would later turn out to be Castlecraver (who might I add was already half in the bag) and I walked rite up behind him, tapped him on the shoulder. "You must be kalas!", I said... "I am...." then I told him who I was was and he went apeshit.. He squeezed me so hard that I thought my ribs would crack. I mean this guy never met me in person before and there he is, hugging me like a brother. Steve, I will never forget that.
Then my wife and I got a few drinks, mixed and mingled and through the course of the afternoon we met Zunoasis, Tam, Lionsden, Brumo a/k/a Greatest View, Jackjohn, that kid from South Africa (wish I could remember his name) as well as a few other people, that one cat from Costa Rica I don't remember what your name is but you know who you are, and a few other people whose names escape me.
THE GIG AT MSG: What can I say. When FITB came on at the beginning, it sounded like an atomic bomb went off in the place. We were in the back, in the corner, but it was an experience I'll never forget. When they went into Turn Up The Sun, I was just simply in awe. I had waited so long to see them, and there they were. It brought tears to my eyes, and at this moment my eyes are welting up recalling the experience. Highlight of the show for me was during the chorous singalong to DLBIA, couldn't hear the words coming out of my own mouth, EVERYONE singing along in unison. Wow.
TWEETER CENTER: What a great time before the gig with Zunoasis and his friend Brian. Tom made our experience extra special, to make a long story short it was our anniversary on that day... we had seats near the back, but 10 minutes before Jet began their set, Tom came running up to us at the t-shirt stand with a pair of tickets about oh, 7-9 rows from the stage. Just handed them to us... "Happy Anniversary." I couldn't believe it. Great gig, from start to finish, Liam nailing every vocal, hot summer night, the lads were really into this one. Also big ups to Tom for a fantastic bootleg of this one. Good work, man.
ACROSS THE NARROWS, SI: What can I say. Kalas made my wife and I feel like family the whole time. We crashed at his place, along with Castle and lions, these guys are 100% HEART AND SOUL. It was a weekend I will never forget. Then later, met and "recruited" a pair of new L4E members, Kevin and Nicole. They are teriffic people and actually don't live that far from us. At the gig itself caught Liam's eye during the gig, at the end of My Generation made my way up to the front and he went over to where my wife and this other girl were standing and hugged them both. Then he came over to me and signed my DBTT booklet, we locked hands and then he stood back and clapped at me. Liam is THE VERY BEST. I will NEVER forget that moment, it was like time stood still.
In closing, just let me say this: I almost remained a "guest" of this forum, but said "why not", and decided to sign up... It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life... We made lots of new friends last year, some close, some far, and LOTS OF GREAT MEMORIES. (I have the pictures to prove it!!!) and I know that the next time the lads come around again, whether it be 2008,2009, or whenever, WE WILL DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, and this time reminisce about all of the great memories from 05.

Half in the bag? Get real I'll second everything Len posted about MSG & ATN, The Klipper was amazing... they really treated us like kings -- free shots, plates of burgers, and we pretty much had our way of the place that whole afternoon. I loved it!!! And the woman that met us on the street and uh... well, no need to give anyone else that mental image. What a crazy weekend... front row w/Lions at Cleve then off to Kalas' place. I remember Kalas and Lions getting ready to crack heads about 4 times, then going back to being best friends. Lions was a tank that night... holy shit. It did feel like family, you're right.

MANCHESTER, waiting down at the front a bit mangled when ashcroft came on the screen live with coldplay and the crowd going mental. everyone singing along to bittersweet. oh and obviously the 20 minute titfest when we fucked the front barrier, strangely i only remember some old granny tits with flowers tatooed round her nips, did anyone else see that or is my private life getting in the way.
ABERDEEN, noels t shirt, shocking. oh and possibly the best performance ive seen the boys play.
HAMPDEN, quite disappointed really. didnt think it was that great a gig.

I wasn't a tank My tour started with Chicago. Stayed at The Congress near Lake Michigan. Nice place. Gig was cool. Went with 8 other people. Was gonna meet Brumo but it didn't work out. Went out to have cigs during the opening band and Jet. Saw Liam walk in when we were on the balcony. Made the 20 hour train ride to NYC Finally got to the meetup. Met a bunch right away. Shadow, Brumo, kalas, webby, britishlove, Tam, Sunflowergal...oh too many to name - Had a few stiff ones in not much time and got pretty loose. Castle hooked me up with some great seats. Great gig. Went back to Harry's and I ended up wandering to a neighboring pub. Got talking to some ladies and ended up at some strange motel room (The Stanford I believe) Nobody was there when I woke up. Took a cab back to my room at The Gershwin. Shadow took me for a tour of the city which was really cool. Got to see the things I wanted to. Went to the MTV store and bought a Pimp My Ride Tshirt Got my pic taken in front of Music City Hall with the Backstreet Boys in the background ;D Next leg I drove to Cleveland and met Castle there. He had fucking front row!!!! Thanks so much Pat!!! It was unbelievable. Its hard to go to a gig and not be right up there now. Fuck Jet but Kasabian were great. Made my way to NYC for Across the Narrows. On my way to kalas' place. Found it pretty easy. Met up with kalas and castle. Nothing too special that night. i ws missing someone too. Met up with djlen and sally the next day. The meetup was a joke but we still had a great time. Everyone was loving my salsa ;D We had a great time. The gig was ok - nothing special - cool venue though. Spent the next couple days with kalas. Had the greatest cheeseburger and pizza ever there Was a great year and hope to do it again thats my story in brief

Dude you're right about the heat I got really dehydrated, and had to sit down on the ground for a few minutes during the opening act, it didn't help that there was nowhere to sit either Hands down the worst oasis gig I've ever been to. The venue was horrible, the people were mostly abnoxious drunken college kids and fights were breaking out all over the place. OASIS deserved a better venue.

I thought it was a great gig, true, the venue wasn't great, but it was still a good show. You can't like a few dicks in the crowd make it a bad concert because stuff like that happens at every gig. You said you whent to the gig in Columbia right? well there were plenty of drunk people there too, and plenty of fights as well. The true thing that determins how good a gig was is always how the bands played, and I think both Oasis and JET were fucking mega. Great gig

Don't get me wrong though, I ALWAYS have fun at these things...I've been kicked, elbowed and shoved at their shows and I've never let it deter me from having fun. I'm just saying that out of the 13 oasis gigs that I've been to, this was the least fun. D'ya Know What I Mean?

SAO PAULO BRAZIL 15th march 2006 my first oasis concert when they finished Lyla it started to rain.. "it rains like manchester", said Noel.. It made the crowd go even more crazy! and during some breaks we were asking really loud for supersonic! after rock n' roll star the band walks off stage and the crowd begins to sing Don't Go Away.. it was beautiful! suddenly Zak walks on stage alone and starts the introduction of supersonic! UNBELIEVABLE!!! i thought he was joking around but then the rest of the band walks on stage and liam says: "this one is for you stop asking!". Noel played the first riff and I said: "this is fuckin' real!! i can't believe it!!". i never thought they would realise a crowd's wish.. i've never seen them doing something like that before! it was the best night of my life and i'll never forget one fuckin' second of that \o/
