I thought it was a great gig, true, the venue wasn't great, but it was still a good show. You can't like a few dicks in the crowd make it a bad concert because stuff like that happens at every gig. You said you whent to the gig in Columbia right? Columbia? Nope...wrong person. Well, to me, the sound wasn't too great either. Don't get me wrong though, I ALWAYS have fun at these things...I've been kicked, elbowed and shoved at their shows and I've never let it deter me from having fun. I'm just saying that out of the 13 oasis gigs that I've been to, this was the least fun. D'ya Know What I Mean? I'm sorry you're not from around her, I guess I should have said the Baltimore gig. It was really in Columbia, which is really quite diffrent from Baltimore.

Detroit: Just getting to see the band for the first time since Brotherly Love was pretty special. Liam kept struggling with the sound and it looked like he might walk off. But he hung in there for a great show. Best moment for me was how much the crowd got into Morning Glory.
Las Vegas: Just such a great venue to see any band because it's so small and there's no bad place to be in there. I loved when Liam said hello to Vegas and then asked where all the fooking aliens were.
Cleveland: Highlight had to be the pandemonium that broke out during My Generation. It seemed like half the damn audience was on the stage, with Liam and Noel signing autographs and hugging fans as the song played on. You gotta love that Andy, Gem and Zach never stopped playing. Rock 'n' Roll Star was really great at this show.
Indy: Good all-around show. It was the only time I got to hear Supersonic on any of the shows I was at and that was pretty great.
Cincinnati: My favorite of them all since it was in my hometown and I had great seats. I loved when Liam stopped Wonderwall, had it out with the sound guy, ripped out his earphones then announced Wonderwall again as if nothing ever happened. Old Liam would have been done but he said fuck it and sounded as as good as ever. Also got to meet board member Reeves and his girlfriend who were cooler than hell. And to top it off, waited until 2:30 a.m. outside Taft Theater in the cold for the boys to come out. They did, I got my DM cover signed by both Gallaghers and it was the perfect way to cap off a great 10 months of concerts in five cities.

Dude you're right about the heat I got really dehydrated, and had to sit down on the ground for a few minutes during the opening act, it didn't help that there was nowhere to sit either Hands down the worst oasis gig I've ever been to. The venue was horrible, the people were mostly abnoxious drunken college kids and fights were breaking out all over the place. OASIS deserved a better venue. I didnt see the whole crowd since I was near the front and with posh (bryan youre a big fag), but I had a great time at philly. So what if it was hot and there were some assholes? They couldn't ruin it for me. I had a much worse time at the Columbia show in Merriweather because the crowd was so dull. I actually moved from my seat near the middle center to see some friends in the lawn seating and stayed back there the whole show because they were having more fun. I couldnt hear or see as well, but whatever....sacrifices.

We started off in the middle about 4 rows back...By the time JET came on, this group of drunken fat dudes kept pushing their way up to the front (much to the dismay of everyone else). Had a verbal altercation with one of em and then I ended up behind this 7 foot tall bloke (I'm only 5 feet) so we decided to just move towards the back. GREAT IDEA. Not only could we see better (thanks to chairs) but we definitely had more elbow room to dance and sing. What really dampened the mood was seeing all these teenagers fighting all over the place in the back. Security had to disperse them half the time. I had fun...just wished it was a better venue and crowd is all.

It was a meatball sub so it was alright Somehow, a bloke eating a meatball sub at an OASIS gig sounds completely comical to me. ;D I need to get out more I suppose...

Queenoasis- it's a shame people were fighting in the back...who does that at an oasis gig, especially in America? I've heard of some wicked fights at UK and European gigs but Americans don't do that unless you're at ozzfest or a metal gig.

sounds like the kid we had next to us. He was this little fat kid who couldn't have been older then 14. The only songs he knew was all the new songs and wonderwall.

i thought the crowd at Columbia was great! it was crazy cos Liam goes" This one is for all the deaf people" and everyone thinks hes joking, there were actully deaf people there! ALOT of them... I spoke to someone about it and apparently they come cos Oasis plays so damn loud! They like the vibrations! Personally it was one of the best gigs for me

Saw Oasis in Cinncinatti, OH and outside Cleveland, OH..in a very small town. Needless to say..they were amazing, as expected. Liam, of course, was crazy. And in a different moment..Liam didn't leave or get mad when fans rushed the stage at the near end of the cleveland gig! Lovely!

I Went to my VERY FIRST (at last for 8 years) oasis' gig here in Dallas, TX. The gig was awesome, and Liam was cool as fook. Noel was making jokes about Cowboys, and tried to speak with Cowboys accent. After that Liam was asking for any Cowgirls there. My most memorable moment was when I met with Noel before the concert, and he was signing some autographs for us. Also, I met with Liam after the concert. Surprisingly, he was pretty nice to all the fans. He let us took a picture with him, and signed autographs too. PRICELESS!!!

i do agree..all this "fook this" and "mate" talk makes me sick. but as for my memories...msg was great, though there were at on of 12 year olds -- weird. philly -- the crowd sucked but the performance was great. i walked there from the greyhound station and almost had a heatstroke. probly the worst day of heat i remember experiencing. the columbia show was fucking amazing. the band was so tight at that point and when kasabian came on for the encore, just brilliant. cant wait to spend another near fortune on the next tour!

The went on for 15 minutes or so with the guys from kasabian jumping aroun the stage like jagger!

How I forgot Liam coming into the crowd at Merriweather is beyond me. That was a pretty pivotal moment of my view of the band. I spoke to Gem and Liam in a webcast they did back in Spain in early june of '05 i believe it was..i asked liam if they had a special setlist planned for the msg show and he said not that he knew of but they would "blow the fuckin roof off the place", and he made good on that so far as i can tell. he really seemed into this tour. while he still was very much the typical rock star on stage he seemed to connect more w/ people less in the "im gonna not smile and make eye contact with you for 20 seconds" and more in the "we're all here to have a great time" way. i noticed that at all 3 of the gigs i went to.

on the 2005 tour i got to see the lads in southampton, milton keynes, v festival and in cardiff.
i have memories from all the shows and heres my highlights
Southampton
1st time i went to an oasis gig with my brother and it was class, got to see the lads take to the stage without tryin to get a glimps past peoples heads ha ha ha. when they went into turn up the sun it was class just seein a sea of peoples jumping about pure class. i waved at liam but he would'nt of seen me.
Milton keynes
the gig as a whole was class. the atmosphere was class.
Turn up the sun and Lyla - jumped around and singing
importance of being idle - a massive group of us (about 15 in all) all started singing the intro to the song and then singing "i sold my soul for the 2nd time" it was class
Rock n roll star, live forever - we all put our arms round other and sang our hearts out.
Cardiff
This was a very emotional time for me so this gig was a bit of a strange one, the best bit for me was when noel sung the masterplan (now i've waited for years for noel to do this one live and finally at my 10th oasis gig he played it) it was a very touching and meaninful moment for me.
