I really doubt this... if it's going to be announced to the public this Friday, they'd have announced it to the fan club and offered and presale first. As it is, the only major announcement this week has been the Indy show which occurs after the supposed Toronto show.

I could see this happening. Going back to the last leg of the tour when myself and other forum members met the band and crew they said they'd be back. That was true. They said they'd do Houston. That was true. They said they'd do another Canadian show. We'll see.
It makes sense for them to start in Canada and work their way down through to Houston. If an announcement is made on Friday, tickets will prob. go on sale next week sometime, leaving time for the fanclub pre-sale.
Plus the ACC is free from the 18th-20th.
(Just a note. If this happens, Coldplay plays 2 nights later. Is it just me or are Coldplay and Oasis always within a few nights of eachother at every venue this tour?)

Assuming this show does happen...
What do you think the best way to get tix are? They'll go reaaaaaaaly fast, so I don't want to be left in the 300 level.

If I buy through Ticketmaster online I almost never take the first pair that pop up for me(unless they are really good seats). I usually do a second and third search and I usually end up getting better seats. Just because seats get released or credit cards don't go through from the first wave. It's risky, but I've had good luck with this method.

The Oasis show won't sell out as fast as the Coldplay show. But it should sell out the first day of sales.

I'd wager within an hour or 2. They sold out Maple Leaf Gardens in under a half hour I think.

They sold out the amphitheatre in an hour early last year.

TO ticket prices are always brutal
a friend of mine had extra tickets to U2 last september, sold his extra tickets and made so much that he actually covered what he'd spent on tickets and had enough to go to dinner that night. He's not a gouger, he just got a really high offer

me and some friends used to do some work for one of the biggest scalpers in toronto. The guy was a pro and he ran his operation like a business, but his face was well known at most places so no one would sell him tickets - that's why he'd pay us (quite a bit for an hours work) to go buy tickets for him. The guy would dish out a thick wad of cash to each of us for the tickets... we thought about taking it running so many times... that's my little tidbit for the day.

Assuming this show does happen... What do you think the best way to get tix are? They'll go reaaaaaaaly fast, so I don't want to be left in the 300 level. If yer not one of those insecure fucks who NEED to sit with someone at these oasis gigs then I suggest doing a search for one ticket at a time on ticketmaster. Almost no one ever buys only one ticket so when you do, yer guarranteed floor seats everytime. That's my strategy and its worked all the time. U never really stay seated the entire time so me and my mates just meet up in the aisle when our boys come on. Try it and trust me, you'll have the best seat(s) in the house.
