The pre-sale is starting at 8:30am eastern time correct?
If it is, what kind of ass backwards time is that?

Does anyone know who the "very special guests" are? I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Hip.

Question. I live in Montreal. Do you think that there is no possibility that they come to montreal (or boston or nyc) and that i should not risk it and buy toronto tickets? It s such a far drive toronto- especially when you dont have a car!!! anyways.. what do u think are the possibilities that they add another canadian show???

Idk what your doing man, just keep trying to figure it out I guess. Guys, I just realized something... The Artic Monkeys are playing in Toronto on the 21, so I would be SHOCKED if they weren't the "very special guest".

I just listened to Bookie on the edge...
He said the ONLY reason thier coming back was because of the fans and the amount of emails they recieved about wanting Oasis to come back. They went on about it for a good 20 straight minutes, played C&A, Wonderwall, DLBIA and Roll with it.
Their presale is Thursday, and they made no mention of oasisinet's presale on tuesday, so we should be able to get top seats.

what does the acc hold for a show? 15,000?
call me crazy, but a one-day sellout might be a bit of a stretch, if the place is that big. but im guessing by showtime it will be full, much like msg, boston, etc. im really pumped for this. i think this will be the best north american show of the tour except msg. msg was surreal - the closest thing ive seen in the states to a uk atmosphere.
but im all for a quick sellout, especially since we'll all get in on the presale.
so is the password the same as the previous 5 u.s. show presales (this is the second one i think)? i saw no mention of the password in the emails. i don't want to mention the pass here, but is it the same?

i looked the acc seat layout for concerts and there are two of them. center stage (with half the arena cut off) and a bowl layout. if it's the bowl layout, looks like 15K or more capacity. center stage would be smaller, and probably more intimate. but id bet they could sellout the bowl layout.
one of the big factors in selling out is the hype from the local station, and it sounds like they are really behind it. which is a lot more than i can say for kroq in la, who have been throwing oasis under the bus since wtsmg.

Do look at Coldplay or Nickelback's concert layout... it should look similar to that. There's no way the band would do a 360 degree concert (cuz that would be really weird, and they're not some boy band)
I was also listening to Bookie earlier, he sounded very excited, considering he's very Madferrit. Judging by the responses to Edge 102 for a concert here, I am thinking that enthusiasm for it would be pretty great.
Yea!! Oasis in Hogtown!

It's going to be the same layout as Coldplay, with seating on the floor.

You have a better chance of getting another NYC show than a Montreal one.

I'm flying up for this show and seeing them in Milwaukee on the 22nd. I should be in a coma for the rest of the week.

I've never been to a concert at the ACC, or for that matter to the ACC itself...where would we want to be sitting?

ACC is a lot like MSG in size, and in terms of concerts, its got the same layout; in all honesty, u get a good view from where ever u are in the arena, cept of course floor seats that are far back; never been to a show on the floor that wasnt general admission, but ive been all around the arena in the seats, and its still pretty good; for Ashcroft and Coldplay, im like in the 2nd last row on the 300 section; still good enough

I just checked ticketmaster .CA and my guess is is that the layout will be Concert Stage end West, which means we'll likely be able to get assigned floor seating....hopefuly close up via the presale. I really hope its not just pure GA...that would suck. I must be getting older eh...?
