what a fuckin brilliant concert!! was well twisted last nite, and my body is aching something bad today (not from a hangover surprisingly, don't have a boggle how i avoided that landmine), my back is in pieces, i fell down quite a lot it was funny, especially the time my mate dropped me from his shoulders head first to the ground - thank christ i wasn't sober, that might have really hurt otherwise what a crowd, what a concert, THE BOYS ARE BACK!!!

First of all we couldnt of asked for a nicer day, second it is a superb venue.
On to the support bands, the first 2 weren't up to much just a bit dull but nice relaxing music. Then the coral came on and they were brilliant they got the crowd going really well and seemed like good lads.
Now to oasis, words could not do this gig justice,it was breathtaking, mindblowing, spine tingling, awesome just pure rock n roll.I was in the pit and after Turn Up The Sun i was already bolloxed, everyone was just going mad.Lyla was brill with all the crowd singing along.Bring it on down was bring it on down-class.
morning glory and cigs and alcohol followed flawlessly and the crowd were fantastic.Noel took over for TIOBI and LBL which were recieved with open arms.Best version of songbird ive ever heard,a bell will ring was prob the low point because nobody seemed to know it.
At this stage noel and liam started passing a mini rugby ball around(NOel actually looked handicapped and Liam kept dropping it)
mucky finger,Champagne supernova and the absolutely amazing rock n roll star followed before the band left the stage. They had earlier let the crowd sing the whole first verse of Live forever again as well which was probably one of the most amazing feelings ever.first up for the encore was song of the night GGTIA - fantastic and the bit at the end sounded mega,TMOS got everyone going and DLBIA was its usual self and my generation with zak on fine form.
Noel-''everbody say hello to Jay'' Crowd-''HELLO'' Noel-''Be careful not to call him Jesus or Liam will go mad'' Crowd-''JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS'' (Liam goes mad)
that bit was brilliant-the whole thing was brill hope i get to go to belfast in dec.oh yeah the whole crowd singing ole ole ole was unbelievable as well

The crowd were fuckin awsome and I went mental when Morning Glory Came on. What was it liam was saying/deciating songbird to Boyzone? anyway a fight brought out after songbird (of all songs ) and after the lovely clapping and singalong we scampered around another 150 nearer the stage through the gap as it was real hard to try and squueze up nearer the stage. The band rocked last nite, truley a FANTASTIC concert ole ole ole's are always great. thought Gem on the harmonica was great during mucky fingers, zacks drumming was out of this world. TIOBI and GGTIA were fantastic live, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and DLBIA were their usual timeless classics getting my fone pics up on the computer now, will post them soon. My calves were pounding this morning, no hangover coz i slept for the best part of 12 hours . anyway if ya have anymore reviews or espically pics of last nite please post them up! My Generation topped of the night with the place going crazy!

As MG said, the gig was amazing. I will just add some random info from the day.
I guess there where at least 40,000 people there. I was a back behind the front of the sound tent and there was no space to move. The lads got on the stage a bit early during FITB and had to stand there for what seemed like a good while until it finished. Liam sounded good but he asked for his mic to be changed after a few songs. Then he sounded amazing!!! Even Noel was micked up properly for the first time EVER! It is the best sound I have ever heard at any gig. Liam dedicate Wonderwall to all the lesbians. Noel jokingly told him to "fuck off". Before the break Liam said that they where going to go backstage and review the footage to see where they went wrong(a jab at U2). At the end of the gig Liam said the crowd where "the bollox as usual". Id say half the crowd where pissed but I did not see much trouble. What do u expect having a gig in Dublin on a Sat!
Higlights where LF, MF, CS, TUTS, MG (x2) and LBL. I thought RNRS was a bit off. Zach was truly outstanding! There is no way they can leave him go. Liam and Noel seem to be best of friends again! Set-list was the usual. GGTIA was electric and Aquisce was played. No LLAB. That was no loss. Weather was perfect also.

I guess there where at least 40,000 people there. It is the best sound I have ever heard at any gig. I doubt there was 40,000; the total capacity is around 17,000. And the sound, from where I was, was awful. The soundman obviously hadn't been told there were guitarists in the band, because all I heard for the first 4 or 5 tunes was drums and bass. It sounded really bad. Me and the missus were right up in front-center, one person from the barrier, until about 5 minutes before Oasis when the pushing got to the point where my girlfriend couldn't breathe and then the fucking dozy bitch beside us dropped cigarette ash on us for the second time and made her cry, so we had to leave. I wish I'd punched her now.
