I went on coldplay.com and checked out their tour section. From June until the end of September, Coldplay only have 2 shows SOLD-OUT and those are in London. Oasis has how many sold-out including this American tour!??! I just find it funny how we can sell-out so many shows vs. Coldplay who sell millions of albums. Oh yeah, we are OASIS. They are like your favorite sports team, only better.
Interesting observation I believe...

- cheers !

What does that have anything to do with what he said. He was simply stating that they are not sold out and they sell a ton more albums in the USA I find that odd myself

Have you been to an Oasis gig this year Dominic? No? That's interesting cos everyone who has have said it was absolutely fantastic.
You'll probably be ejected for jumping at a coldplay gig.

actually... and I hate coldplay... most of their us shows are sold out or VERY close... they're also playing some larger venues... and it's their most ambitious US tour, I only point this out in fairness...
comparing the two live is pointless..

I got to see coldplay live at coachella this year. good sound, good songs, but boring as hell, not a simple song to jump to believe me, the crowd whent mad for weezer instead , that should tell you something about how them live. theyll never get the crowd mad as oasis, even now....
you can get tickets to every single coldplay concert in us.... while some of us will be waiting outside MSG in hope.

Stop bashing Coldplay. This is getting really old. It's a different band with different style. You can't compare them. As for their concerts, not everything is about jumping.

ithink chris martin has developed huge stage presents and his own personal "swagger" - he isnt the ginger curly kid with the rolling stones top in shiver anymore, i thought at that mtv gig he was an awsome front man

make no mistake about it coldplay are a talented band. but they do not have the songs to do a live gig like oasis, its that simple. In my opinion the only 2 bands on the world stage currently with that awe about them are oasis and u2. i have seen both and both were unreal.

I completely agree. I was at the Toronto show last night, saw Oasis play, no one was jumping at the gig. Geez, nobody was jumping around at an Oasis gig? Whats that all about?! I stand corrected, I did see a few ppl jump who had seats in the 100 section (right in front of the stage). But mostly ppl had their arms around each other, waving their arms in the air, singing along to the songs. The gig was in a amphitheatre, reserved seating, can't really jump around. Still it was an amazing gig and Oasis are back to top form. They performed better at the gig on Friday night than they did back in 2002 on the Heathen Chemistry tour.
