With little promotion they still break the top ten. This is very, very huge. Enjoy that drink Kalas Little Promotion? There has been all kinds of promotion for this album. Best Buy with those posters. And Radio and TV spots. I think #8 is a BIGTIME DISSAPOINTMENT. But if you consider that many people had no idea they were still around maybe its halfway decent. You make the promotion sound like an explosion of Unionjack's & monobrows. Has it been as massive as britney and that twat Timberlake??

Well from a marketing standpoint they wanted a high number for this one thats why they didn't put it against the big players like Coldplay and the White Stripes. What we can hope for is that this stays on the charts for awhile. If this album flops like HC and Standing on the Shoulders Oasis will give two shits about America and may not tour anymore over here.

Disappointing is you telling us that a #8 is disappointing. That's a great position if you think of the commercial garbage thatruns around that chart Coldplay is going it #1 and Oasis pisses over anything they ever have done or ever will do. Oasis has themselves to blame for never fully realizing there potential by screwing with MTV and the Corparate Bigwigs when they were the Gorilla of the music world and it is coming back at them now. However, I did enjoy that attitude as well..... And Coldplay isn't a commercial band?? After all the butt licking for over a year for X&Y what would you expect? Just like shitty Keane. Glad Oasis ain't like them. #8 is a great position.

Oh come on man, 8 would be great. When SOTSOG was coming on, go let it out was in the rotation, liam went on TRL, and it only hit 20. Getting into the top 10 without big airplay (none here in nyc) or video play would be AMAZING
