Has anyone noticed that liam has lost his distinct manchester accent. Listen to the way he talks now compared to 1994. I have been on about his voice in previous posts but not on this forum though.
I have to agree with everyone who said he should give up the fags and get voice training. i miss the liam of old you know 1994-2000.
they could be the best fuckin rock band on earth if liam fixed his voice up (also fucking shitty they sacked alan white another story though). He cant seem to hit the high notes anymore like i reckon the songs liam could not sing anymore off the first two records would be:
Up In the Sky
Slide Away
Married with Children
Cast No Shadow
Hey Now
Shes Electric
and probably other B sides such as headshrinker
Also i think he has developed as a singer like on the DM DVD ie. angelic voice to a confident singer but his little raspiness from around the 1996-1998 has further progressed to the shit state nowdays if he could get his voice back to the way it sounded on the 2000 World Tour thaty would do me
by the way i dont think his stance has anything to do with it cause when you sing it comes from your stomach (projecting your voice) and he just does that to get more power, you dont sing through your throat!

Hearing this is kind of frightning. For the last years I've been very upset with Liam's voice, I mean, just listen to the Glastonbury 04 bootleg, it almost makes me ashamed to be an Oasis fan.
But then I downloaded the My Generation video from Jonathan Ross, and I was fucking stunned. "Damn, Liam's fantastic voice has resurrected again". The thoughts flew through my mind and I was left with a tingling feeling all over my body. I was sooo happy.
Then I heard the bootleg from Clapham Grand, and to be honest, I was a little disappointed. There were still signs of his... grunting, that we've had to live with the last years.
After that I downloaded another bootleg, I don't really know where it's from, but the guy who had uploaded it had called the zipfile "Kopie van pro audio", so maybe you know what boot I'm talking about. Anyway, after hearing that one I was happy again, since I felt the magic in Liam's voice.
Then I read this, and I almost feel gutted.
I'm going to see them at two gigs in Manchester, and I hope to God that Liam won't show up as drunk as he was on the second night of Wembley, for example.
But he seems really unstable, and this is probably a mixture of all the fags, alcohol and drugs he has consumed the last... 18 years? Anyway, we all know that Liam really knows to do his stuff if he really wants to, so if he could just stop acting so fucking stupid and stop getting totally wasted before gigs, and maybe swallow his pride and take some singing lessons, he could restore the old magical Liam we know and love.
