I think I tend to agree... I feel it's missing just one tie-it-together track that's a long anthem or sing-a-long rocker. I think if it had that it this album would be 5 stars. Right now I give it a four.

I think what's missing to you is familiarity! The album still sounds too fresh.
Give it time... you'll see.

Let There Be Love is a great tune. However, it really dosent fit the vibe of the album.

i second that. we're also missing some dimwitted reviews, people comparing the songs to the beatles and some band nobody cares about (e.g. embrace) calling it bad |

It's missing loud guitars!!
Im really anxious to hear how these new songs will sound live since they are almost all acoustic based, but I guess we shall see.

It's not like a feel disappointed. I do miss the distortion but this album kicks some fucking ass!!@!!! Great tunes.. can't really understand why people seem to dislike LTBL..  |

In one way I'm happy to see them diverge entirely from the almost 12-year-old formulaic Oasis rock song, but I think the album could have used some more wailing guitar. |

It's a good thing you're in the small minority. ;D Nah man, don's got a point and I'm inclined to agree with him in some respect. On the other hand, I am really glad its better than the last 2 albums, and shows that Liam can write realy good songs. I think the fact we've been waiting for 3 years for this and we've heard all about how good it's "supposed" to be, already with the comparisons to DM and WTSMG, we end up expecting the sun the moon and the stars. But in the end I think it's a good album and means a lot of good news in the evolution of Oasis. |

The album isn't bad at all, but yeah, it doesn't have loud guitars, except for abwr. And i think oasis should have better used them in the meaning of soul, that would have been a true rocker!  |
