(1) Owen Morris

(2) Loud Electric Guitars

(3) A band that have got the bollocks to try & take over from Oasis.

This album is missing all of the above

Oasis need to get Owen back in as the producer for their next album. Let's have an Oasis sounding record of old - Aggressive, Uplifting, Melodic and with something to say.

Also turn up the guitars and get rid of that semi-acoustic 'Neil Young/Bob Dylan' garbage

And Oasis thrive on competition - think of all the bands they held off back in the days, Blur, Suede, Pulp, Supergrass etc. There's just no competiton anymore.

But why? There is a Band called Idlewild, just Eyeball Ticklers (excludinng the nbelievable "Live in a Hiding Place") which does "ET" (nice abbrevation in fact) on higher levels. Noel (and Liam as well, which hurts to say

) found their new place in modern Music. Now they have to defend it against the other classical bands. Libertines, Coldplay, Blur - they are no competitors anymore. Thank you Noel, thank you Liam, thank you iTunes Germany.
