Hey, think lyla is a good solid oasis tune, but just saw video tonight and it made me like it even more. Really think its one (if the not not the best) Oasis video they have made. As lets face it their video's arent usually tht great but this one was really cool  |

Eh, I think you're overstepping it a wee bit . . .
All Around The World, Wonderwall, Stand By Me, D'YKWIM, Live Forever (both versions) Supersonic (both versions) were better.
I mean, from a marketing standpoint I thought it was pretty good but as a fan it was a bit average . . .
I hate to say this but it almost looks like an Aerosmith video.

well take ur point, but all round the world was such a beatles rip off, wonderwall, was them just sitting around with a clown messing around with a blade! stand by me was pretty good but a bit dull.
do you know what i mean was good, but this one just seemed a bit more fun...

oh and the first supersonic video could havce been made by anyone with a camcorder!!! they just held their guitars on a rooftop

lyla is good, its gonna be a big hit. but go let it out is great(the best videos make room for big captions), same with the hindu times.

yea noel does play bass, he played bass for a lot of the tracks on sotdog. if u can play guitar then u can get away with playing bass

quality fuckin video...no nothing will ever be more classic the morning glory videos especially wonderwall sorry to be predictable but don't look back in anger, supernova and especially wonderwall....fuckin absolute classics....DM videos for the time there forsure good and d'you know what i mean is wicked....since then i would say in my opinion lyla is the best video....but then again i think this song is better then hindu times and go let it out......the guys just looks awsome in this video especially noel, hes got the long har comin in again, liam is sporting the classy sideburns.....this whole video just screams for the return of oasis......i'll just say this i work at a fairly large dept store where i was the only person who listened to oasis and got made fun of....well you wanna know how many peeps are going to the concert i am going to now???.....11 including myself, infact 2 employees just bought scalper tickets.....now the whole catch to this story is out of these 11 people 6 of them are under the age of 17 and 10 of them are under the age of 22.......the next generation is kicking in.....oasis has now come full circle
anyways that got a little off topic....my bad

The video does remind me a bit of Aerosmith/Bon Jovi...kinda lame. If it wasn't for a fucking awesome tune and some proper looking guys on stage (instead of tarts in leather pants with dyed hair), I'd imagine it could pass for those wank bands...
I must add:
D'you know what I mean? will pass for coolest capture of Liam on film (stoic at the mic as the camera approaches him...with the drums kicking in...the shades, the gum....AWESOME!)

the all around the world video is just madness which imo is a perfect encaptulation of not just the song but the whole of be here now and there lives at the time.

Lyla is a quality video but to say that its there best is overstepping the mark a bit i think. For me you will never beat 'Dya know what I mean' for sheer style and coolness and i remember that rush of excitment i got when i seen it on MTV for the first time. Also think 'dont look back in anger' is up there with their best aswell.
