loving the guitars, the drumming, the lyrics, the voice, the catchy sound, the phsicadellic style and the idea that oasis is back! ;D

Its ok, not fantastic, but you can't deny liams voice sounds pretty great, which helps the song a lot.
would be nice if it had a bit more to it, like a bridge. But hey, noel barely writes them anymore.
if liams voice is this good for the whole album, Ill be very pleased.

I think everyone is jumping the gun on the single give it time....its like Green days american idiot i thought the single sucked but then it got big and than they released Bvd. of broken dreams and it pushed them to the level they use to be at.....so lets wait until the US and the rest of the world hear it

I thought it was going to sound completely different. I like it but it's not the best. Definately interesting.

Lyla is "Confrontation Camp" by the Soundtrack of Our Lives. Listen to that song, you will now what I mean. I am lukewarm on it- I'll wait until I hear a cd quality vetrsion. I hope Lyla is the worst track on the album. Noel did say its only the 5th best song on the album or something

It didn't blow me away as of yet and i'm not as excited as a lot of the others are. But i too will wait for the cd quality version to give my review of it.
hopefully the other songs are better.
and i don't like the melodic/bass and rythmn thing that is going on. i need more heavy guitars!

i think that while the song is great, it's kind of a step back musically (so was hc). i liked that they were starting to mature with sotsog, but lyla sounds like it could have been on be here now (or could have been a b-side). i hope to god that noel wrote another gas panic, at least as a b-side.

oh and those not being totally honest with us - negative reviews are welcome. Don't just say you like it because you think everyone will jump all over you.

just finally heard it now.... fucking ace i was expecting a rocker along the lines of the hindutimes or even U2's all because of you (with all the who references), but Lyla is a fucking stomper. its the fucking sound of 95, which i thought wouldn't be what we would want today; but theres a positivity to it that pisses all over the rest of the shit i've heard (cept the phonics new one, thats fuckin tops!) fucking ace man, bring on the album, cuz it feels like better days are ahead

I'm still surprised how good Liam sounds, the best in years. thats true... sounds like hes 20 somehting again! Lyla is bloody catchy! only thing I'd like to hear in it is heavier guitars!!! and is this the song that noel said the end 30 seconds would blow you away? because the end minute is definately something to die for Grahhh just when you're hanging for another chorus it stops! "I like the waltzy bit at the end... its like the who a bit"

i need more heavy guitars! yeah. go listen fookin metallica. sure this is not their best song but it's a fuckin top tune. the lyrics are mega, liam's voice is great, that tiny guitar solo is so full of a feeling... the only bad thing is the dum-dum-dum drumming.

I'm still surprised how good Liam sounds, the best in years. True. Liam sounds Amazing. Now we can speculate has he done something to his throat or taking singin lessons? But back to Lyla, it sounds very good! Chorus is very catchy and production is also very good. I´m in quite positive feeling now about DBTT

Its a great song
I was a bit disappointed at first but its a grower, innit !! I'll try not to have to bigger expectation because nothing can live up to what weve all been waiting for the past 3 years
