I am also disappointed with Lyla i must say, but it seems a lot of fans like it ...i'm disapointed because it's a single, i don't think it's a good single for oasis to come back, but after a few listening it gets better...

I think its a good first single. It makes you wanna tap your foot or have a jump around. It will be a good tune live.

Its fucking Mega! This song is the real deal. The vocals, the guitar, the drums, etc. This is Oasis in great form. Piss off to those who don't like it. LOL

ok... i'm calmed down. i think thats one of the only songs to capture that summer rebellion feeling of street fighting man, eh? definetly as close to their roots as they've been since 1995. the best part is the rock and roll star/my generation graziness that it descends into towards the end. noel wasnt shittin us , thats a great song. now if its the 5th best song on the album.... btw, how did that station get it before the bbc?

Man all these fucking naysayers having a go!, it's a typical cracking 1st oasis single. It follows in the same vein as all there other catchy sing along single's ie: go let it out, Hindu Times, Roll with it. Noel said himself they did'nt have the oasis 1st single they needed until he cooked this one up from a demo, We'll all be singing along to this with a warm putrid festival beer in hand come the summer!
Heyyyyy Ly-la ;D
