from www.oasisinet.com/Alan White has been asked to leave Oasis by the other band members. There are no plans to replace Alan. The band's scheduled recording sessions remain unaffected.

"Alan White has been asked to leave Oasis" does that mean it was a fall out or do they mean it was in his best interest after the injury

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 'There are no plans to replace Alan'?? Is it just me or surely there should be plans to replace him...I mean, Noel probably does drumming for recording now, but what about after? maybe he's done most his work. Or he they could all do there work then worry about a drummer after. They may get a session musician, noel might do it there's endless possibilitys. either way he's gone and its a shame.

I'm asking my self the same question.. well' let's wait till Noel says his word.. but this phrase about "not replacing" is really strange../

from nme
ALAN WHITE'S DEPARTURE FROM OASIS CONFIRMED
ALAN WHITE is out of OASIS - and the band say they’ve asked him to leave.
The future of the drummer has been the subject of intense speculation all week after a tabloid newspaper claimed he was to quit the group because of problems with tendonitis.
White joined Oasis after original drummer Tony McCarroll was booted out before the recording sessions for classic second album ‘What’s The Story (Morning Glory)’ in 1995. White is the closest thing the Gallaghers have to a founder member besides themselves, having played on four albums and countless tours.
A spokesperson for the band contacted NME.COM today, and confirmed White had left the band.
She said:"Alan White has been asked to leave Oasis by the other band members. There are no plans to replace Alan. The band's scheduled recording sessions remain unaffected."
Oasis will release their new album later this year, possibly in September.

Maybe, hes temporarily left. Hes been asked to leave by other band members because of tendonitis, obviously, if he carries on and does another tour his arms will be truly fucked, Noel has always said its not his job to sack someone from the band (apart from Tony McCarrol, who was a prick anyway, and alan aint no prick). AND how can they not find a replacement, they'll have some tours coming up this year to promote the album?? maybe he's having some time off to get some proper medical attention, then, hopefully he'll come back.
Guigsy did the same, he lost the plot, had some time off and came back.

Maybe he was trying add his style of playing and fight happen or something stupid like when bonehead left because hotel thing. Alan is more a Jazz drummer than a rock drummer really You might want to add it's the last album on there deal with Epic

if they are giving alan some time off, they would have clearly stated that in the statment. i think hes gone for good, its a shame really... it looks like its comming to the end for oasis, i think this could be the last album...... They kick him out It might be the end for oasis. Since no new deal has been signed. Band's record sales been dropping.Liam and Noel have other projects going on now. They keep adding new members all the time. They played to the largest crowds and all the best gigs. Won awards and gotten the biggest of fame .Also maybe no record lables will sign them to a deal like before or better?? Noel might not have the drive anymore.

We've got memories of the gigs, the beer, the drugs whatever. I dont mean to be all sentimental but........'Thankyou for the good times' anyone??.
