I'd just like to add that every time I've caught the show, the band has always sounded a bit tame and tinny, whoever it is. Must be something to do with the studio, and I dount the producer would allow them to have everything as loud as they usually do.

overall, it was embarassing. What the hell is wrong with Liam's singing. Someone should tell him he doesn't have to shout. Anyhow, look forward to having the boots of the gig virtually unlistenable because of liam's singing. You thought Glastonbury was bad, imagine this after a tour. This performance of Lyla was a one off, imagine after 5 months of touring. Oh well.

I thought my generation was quality - agreed Lyla wasn't that good. Liam was being a twat as usual. my generation was pretty damn good lyla wasn't good in the beginning, liam couldn't reach the high notes, but it picked up around the middle/end. by the time my generation came around, he was in top form. listen to their last live performance, glastonbury 2004, and THEN tell me his voice hasn't improved significantly.

How good do you fucking well expect any band to sound in an acoustically shit TV studio. Honestly please tell me the last time you heard live music sound good in a studio. Or is that some muppets on here want it to sound like the album. Pricks!! With fans like you lot, who the fuck needs the gutter press.

liam does crack every single time and tonight's performance was far from oasis standard. Noel sounded great as usual and the band was incredible. liam huffing and puffing just took away from it overall.

My Generation looked and sounded amazing. Lyla didn't come off so good live, I have the mp3 but not the video yet.

I'm not too sure about how it looked mate, Zak looked pissed off. Liam looks uncomfortable (after saying he was nervous i think it was purely lack of vocal warmup... i do that if i don't warm up properly). Noel Gem and Andy were spot on but i think Andy looked stupid with the strap on his bass being so tight, he normally has it lower than that.
Just something i noticed, i thought it looked a bit odd

Just watched the vid of My Generation again, Noel seems to get better and better as the years go by.

I thought that... i also thought Liam's was too low.
Did you see how far he was bending down?
No wonder he couldn't sing, he barely had any bloody oxygen by the look of it.
If i was in the audience i swear i would have gone and ajusted the fucking mic. it was way to low
...another reason stopping him singing properly

noel is truly the king though, great singing and great playing. i hate the bubble machines behind the band though and the lights strewn on the amps seem so out of place

I just watched the performance of Lyla. It wasn't that bad, Liam's vocals were kinda loud. He sounded a bit off at the beginning but seemed to pull it together towards the end of the song.

You guys crack me up, do any 'fans' slag of their band the way we do?, talk about critical! Having said that Liams kecks were awful and his mike was too low aswell, on the singing he did start badly (but then I've seen JR loads and nearly every performance is awful) Bono was truly crap when launching U2's album on the show. As for My Generation, brilliant performance, anybody who doesn't like that really shouldn't be into Oasis (and probably isn't Ps the voice going after the bass, is part of the song really, as I was listening to the original and Roger does something similar (on a lesser scale)- That adds to the wild performance along with the stuttering or did you think that was a Liam problem aswell ? ;D

It was miles, miles, miles better than Glastonbury which was, frankly, embarassing.
The Lyla performance was better than expected, My Generation rocked and they looked fucking cool.
End of.

How good do people expect a performance to be in a TV studio. To all the whining children on here, fuck off and put your rick astley albums on and stop pretending to like the greatest band in the world because you think it makes you look cool. Most of you wouldn't know a fucking chord if it punched you in the mouth, hopefully soon something will. TWATS. *end of fucking rant*
