what labrie said above me is so right...but step because i respect your opinions so much i played xy on my way home from work last night ,then when i got home put in MG.. and mate i just cant agree ...ther songs are good but they as a band seen to be missing the spark that sets the tunes into orbit, my hands were never tappin the wheel nor did it move me ,,it was quality but not on the level of MG OR DM the time hello ended i was boppin my head and opening a bud ,,i guess thats the difference to me MG IS GREAT AND HAS THAT EXTRA SOMETHIN xy dont (2 me) and its not like i am only about OASIS i put PHSYCAL GRAFFITTI,STICKY FINGERS, WHOS NEXT,THE WALL on par to anything OASIS EVER DID . i know from your posts about coldplay YOURSELF MAKETRADEFAIR,and DOM have drank the kool aid and feel coldplay are the next u2 and think they are now better than OASIS and you are all entitled to that and its cool .but wghen you post its as good as MG i had to put my 2 cents in ,,i am pretty objective when it comes to music NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS,LONDON CALLINGare there,,,, XY no way in my book..OH and to you dom and trade i aint slaggin u off by saying u drank the kool aid i just mean its obvious in all 3 of u guys posts how u feel about coldplay, and how brilliant you think they have become i listen to it and dont see it ,,guess thats why kool aid comes in different flavors (insert wink here)  |

Parachutes is my fave Coldplay album.
Its their most indie album too....

i think with coldplay its not as easy to agree, like the singles off the first album were great, but i think most of it sounds the same, i think ROBTTH is fantastic, just has maybe 2 weak songs, i think X & Y is there best album all round, i luv that record like, just came at the right time, when i expected more from the last U2 and oasis Album, but i dont know if its in the morning glory/josha tree bracket just yet, if it sounds fresh in 10 years maybe, but thats a big task
