Wilco has been kicking ass and taking names for over 20 years. That's something special right there. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is one of my favorite albums of all-time. Not a bad song on that album. Killer documentary to go along with it. Reminds me of a modern/American Revolver. I've been dying for Wilco to make another album since it's been 3-4 years now. I didn't realize Jeff was dealing with a lot of personal issues at home with his wife sick with cancer. Hopefully she makes a full recovery. Yeah, poor Jeff has had a lot to deal with over the course of his career. Obviously hope his wife can make a full recovery, but how cool of a dad does he seem to be? Tweedy seems like a awesome bonding experience for him and his son. Mama's gotta be proud of Papa Tweedy for taking his son out and playing with him after touring all these years. A lot of those Tweedy songs are kinda........awesome too.

I have downloaded Summerteeth and thought it was ok. They sounded like Blur to me, actually they sounded like mix of so many bands and i thought they were good but nothing special, just another band. But then in next few days i realised that so many songs from this album stucked in my head and i had to listen Summerteeth again and now i think its great and cant wait to listen some other album.

The great thing about Wilco is that they don't really sound like another type of band. Maybe Uncle Tupelo but for good reason and that is only slightly. Wilco had some run with Being There, Summerteeth, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Ghost Is Born.

I have to say, Summerteeth is probably my favorite Wilco record, and that's a really tough decision because YHF, AGIB, and BT it a lesser extent could be argued as well. All of their albums are really good, their newest one is really really good. From Being There to A Ghost is Born the band grow so much. Literally from Summerteeth to YHF, the band didn't release a mediocre tune.

It makes me sad that a thread on Wilco only has 600 views. Great band.

For some reason I keep coming back to Summerteeth, such a beautiful record in the truest sense of the word.

I'm really proud of myself for figuring out how to download, and then upload the album to my iTunes... God bless.

I'm currently traveling and only have my iPad mini. It won't let me download the album via safari. Any work arounds? EDIT: Downloaded win zip app. Can play.

I still can't get 4 of the songs to sync... I listened to the rest of the album this morning, it's pretty good, not spectacular, kinda reminded me of the self-titled Wilco album...not spectacular itself. Wasn't really in the mood to listen to it this morning, might listen to it later today... God bless.

Wilco went all minimal on this release. It's sorta like their "Let It Be" style album. Just drums, guitar, bass and some vintage keyboard action. Back to basics. My highlights include You Satellite, Taste The Ceiling, Random Name Generator and Where Do I Begin. Some of these tunes remind me of songs off "A Ghost Is Born". Think Pickled Ginger for starters.
