In the 25+ times I've seen Oasis, Beady Eye, NGHFB and Liam solo, I'm confident I know what for me is a good gig and what was better than Knebworth: City of Manchester 2005 Heaton Park 2009 Noel Royal Albert Hall 2010 Liam Brixton 2017 Liam Paris 2017 Liam Hackney Round Chapel 2019 Liam Royal Albert Hall 2022 To name a few... The gig itself was fine. Liam was decent. Kasabian were banging. But the overall experience of the gig was tainted by the organisation of the event. It took 2.5hrs to get there from London (which I know is heavily on the train company), but surely the organisers could've put on shuttle coaches to prevent the 50 minute walk to/from the gig and then all the info I was given from official sources suggested there would be no way back to London via train after the gig, so I felt like I had to opt to leave early to get back. If this was made clear when the tickets were on sale I could've looked at the coach or camping option but they were all gone (as were any local hotels) when I was told. So I missed Fat White Family who I'd have liked to have seen, all the other support acts, plus all of Liam after Once. So yeah, if I do come across a little annoyed it's because I am. On the positive side, even if John Squire was a surprise then you would have missed it anyway because you were sprinting back to the station with 30 mins of the gig to go. Every cloud! Or, if it was organised better I could've stayed to the end and not even have had to consider how I was getting back like EVERY other gig I've been to and had a nicer time.

Listen, it's a difference of opinion. You don't agree with me, I don't agree with you. If you want less songs at a gig then that's fine, I prefer to have more. Yeah fair enough. If you were disappointed by that gig there isn’t much I can say. Good luck finding a better one in the future. Team that with a shorter set and a better performance from Liam on the previous night and it all adds up. So yeah, if I do come across a little disappointed it's because I am.

What's annoying about it is paying hard earned money for the original gig that was advertised, only for the additional date that was added to have a longer setlist, give away the 'surprise' of John Squire, and in my opinion, have a better performance from Liam. You didn’t pay your hard earned money to see John Squire. You didn’t know until Friday he was there 😂 We paid our money to see Liam Gallagher at Knebworth with a reasonable expectation that he would smash it out of the park. I’d say we got what we paid for. I’ll take a shorter set that doesn’t include Shockwave. That makes the set as a whole much better. Listen, it's a difference of opinion. You don't agree with me, I don't agree with you. If you want less songs at a gig then that's fine, I prefer to have more.

Nope. I said he sounded better on the Friday. And said how annoying it was that he scheduled to many gigs even though by most accounts he nailed every one. So I don’t get what’s so annoying about it. What's annoying about it is paying hard earned money for the original gig that was advertised, only for the additional date that was added to have a longer setlist, give away the 'surprise' of John Squire, and in my opinion, have a better performance from Liam.

After watching a good hour of footage from both nights, he definitely sounds better on the Friday to me. Very annoying to be honest after going through the difficulty of getting tickets, only for the extra date to be added before the original. 3 big gigs in 4 nights was always going to stretch his voice and it's pretty clear to me if Knebworth was available, the extra date should've been the Sunday, not the Friday. He was very good on Saturday, I don’t get what the problem is. Talking like he ballsed it up. Nope. I said he sounded better on the Friday. Didn't say he wasn't good on the Saturday, just better on the Friday.

Really sorry to hear you had a difficult experience. It's not right, and hopefully you calling them out on it makes it better for others in the future. I would have said this on Twitter, but you've understandably restricted comments. Not logged on here for years but wanted to see what people made of the gigs- I went Saturday. I'm so chuffed Liam didn't let any of us down as bad as the organisers let you down. Hope you have better future experiences. Peace out ✌️ Thank you, that's so sweet! I went on Saturday too and it's just a shame that the organisation was so poor cause Liam was incredible. Even when I went to LCCC in 2018 it was nowhere near as bad as this, yes the view was far back but I was directly opposite centre stage not at the side and there was nothing obstructing my view. I'm seeing Noel in a few weeks at a much smaller outdoor venue so I hope the experience is better and I think I can safely say I'll never bother to go to Knebworth again in the future should anything come up My issues pale in comparison to you, but I am in total agreement that I would never go to Knebworth again.

Without doubt, the most shambolically organised gig ever. I made a thread on twitter about this, I'm furious What happened to you? Similar to me with the travel?

Yep, it really was the cherry on the top. Everyone was in great spirits the whole day. Just a sea of people absolutely buzzing to be there. Made it even more special after the last few years we've all had. How good was More Power by the way? Sounded so epic. Yes. Maybe my tune of the night.

Yeah how did you manage that with the hotel - just take a gamble? I agree that getting a beer and going to the loo was fine but everything around the gig was just a total mess. As soon as the dates were confirmed I made the booking with a free cancellation, so even if I didnt get LG tickets it wouldnt have mattered. With Premier Inn I think you can cancel for free up to 3 days before the date of your booking. Maybe I just wasn't as on it as other gigs but it seemed impossible to get a hotel anywhere nearby. It certainly would've made the day a whole lot better with 2 hours less walking and 2 hours less spent on a train.

Home. Was epic last night. The crowd reaction to Stand By Me was incredible, probably the highlight. Hearing Roll It Over was pretty special also. Liam and the band were on fire and I thought the sound was great considering how far back I was. Also once you got in I thought it was all extremely well organised. I never queued for more than 5-10 mins for beer and never queued at all for a toilet. Kasabian were a lot better than I expected without Tom. I'm glad I sorted a room in the local Premier Inn before the tickets went on sale, it took forever to get out so I feel bad for anyone who was rushing for a train. Yeah how did you manage that with the hotel - just take a gamble? I agree that getting a beer and going to the loo was fine but everything around the gig was just a total mess.

Seemed he skipped Shockwave the 2nd night. strange Yeah that was definitely missing. Switched the order of the set up too early on.

I think I'm in the minority who feels a bit short changed this morning!!
Seems like it was a slightly shorter set too last night.

Hope the young lass thats gone missing is found safe. Not the sort of thing you want to hear about after a gig. Didn't hear about this but hopefully she is ok.

Without doubt, the most shambolically organised gig ever. What happened?? Train cancellations due to trespassers. Took 2.5hrs to get there from Kings cross. Then I'm sorry, but a 50min wall each way to n from the gig is a joke. And then about 2 trains running back from Stevenage. Shambles.

Reply from the train company asking about travel from Knebworth: 'I do hope this finds you well and thank you for getting in touch. Having checked your journey on the 4th of June I am unable to find any information to say the station will be closed. All indications are services will be running: ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/KBW/KGX/040622/2230/dep#outwardJump I have also checked for any Planned Engineering Works and there are none on the 4th of June: www.greatnorthernrail.com/travel-information/plan-your-journey/planned-engineering-work but please do check on the date of your journey. I do hope this helps and that you enjoy your journey and your concert. Kind regards Hazel Customer Relations Advisor' So perhaps Knebworth will be open after all and they're just assuming that by putting a message out people won't bother trying it.

Crows seem quite subdued for the most part in the videos I've seen.
