I think it will go very well in the concerts and even do relatively well in the charts, because this is the Noel that the non diehards like.
I like the song a lot. The chorus is maybe not as obvious as Little by little, but is GREAT. The best one he has made in some time.
Yes he is not reinventing the wheel, but give me at least one of this kind of songs once per album cycle.

I'm hoping the album is 12-13 tracks. We will probably hear 3 singles prior to get coming out late May/Early June. Album is 5 tracks. 2 Noel sung (Pretty boy and Easy now), one 14 minute instrumental, one 11 minute Ysee sung, and a 17 minute remix of the Ysee sung. |

If Noel hasn't got the balls for a proper double album then he should at least serve us up a 17 track, 1 hour plus offering like we regularly get with the RHCP. WBTM was far too short. We're about to get a 7 track album with 3 instrumentals. And two of the non instrumentals will be Ysee sung. |

Every 4-5 years for the last 25 years, this is THE most exciting time. All the detective work, the snippets of news, the anticipation, the excitement, the inevitable frustratingly long wait between announcement and release, the incessant ‘leak is imminent’ posts, the fake lyrics, the fake song titles, the Bond theme hype, checking this forum every hour for news….all of it. - Album announcement in November.
- First single released April 2023.
- Album released February 2024.
- The album has 8 songs, and is 34 minutes long.
- 3 7-minute instrumentals, Ysee sings 2, Noel sings 3 (one of them is a re-recording of It's better people with slower tempo and Jeremy Stacey on drums).
- Only festivals tour, with the EP and Who Built the Moon songs plus Dream on returning as the backbone of the setlist.
- Gas Panic, Let's all make believe, Where did it all go wrong, Carry us all, Stand by me, All around the world, Live forever, Rockin chair, Falling down, The turning, Bring it on down, Hello, Underneath the sky, Stay young, My sister lover, Roll with it, and I hope I think I know are soundchecked and setlisted but finally not played because "We didn't quite get them right".
- Noel tries to appear as guest to Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones in the Reading festival but all of them refuse due to his bad relationship with Dave Grohl. He ends sharing stage with Russel Brand and Neil Farage.
- 14 year hiatus after the album cycle.

Please stop the Too good for giving up will take Spotify/charts by storm thing. Every Liam (and previously Oasis) record there are 1-2 songs trying to be this big anthem. Sometimes it happens. Stop crying your heart out, Once, even For what it’s worth.
But it doesn’t happen often. We had ppl in this forum saying that The beat goes on, Paper crown, Start anew, All you’re dreaming of, even Ballroom figured, were those big anthems.
Let’s enjoy the song for what it is. It won’t be a hit. No problem with that.
