I think the only reason he didn't leave the gig this friday earlier was that they streamed the show live. His voice wasn't up for it, and the crowd was horrible. I expected some of the next few gigs to be cut short or cancelled. Hope he get's better soon. And oh, I don't expect BE to come to sweden or any other scandinavian country any time soon, sadly they've just got to few fans over here... I always thought Oasis was quite popular in Sweden? I think they pretty much sold out both Globen Arena in Stockholm and Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg in 2009. I'm not sure how many that attend to the gigs but I think it was 8000 in Gothenburg and some more in Stockholm. Maybe Mr. Sifter can correct me if I'm wrong. So, yeah they were quite popular here. It's so sad that Beady Eye have not attracted more audience than what they have done here in Sweden and Denmark. I hardly believe they will come back. But I hope they try to do a gig in Stockholm next time they go on tour. They only played a festival here this time.

Did Liam just said: "It's like talking to a fuckin' brick wall" to the audience? Haha. He seems right, though. The crowd are very calm and... lame.

Seems like Liam's mad at the audience. I can understand him... And they had a little fuck up at the beginning of Three Ring Circus.

He has definitely not recovered from the throat infection. It will take a few more days to get well I think.

The reporter is so nervous... feel a bit sorry for him.
Cred to Noel to joke it up a little after he asks him a very stupid question about the name on the documentary, though.

Yeah reading the comments on facebook etc is making me furious! Noel walked out of more gigs than Liam. And he didn't even have to sing that much. I don't say it's a good thing to pull out of a gig but as a singer being on tour all the time it can happen. Hell I even got a throat infection last week, it can happen to anyone! Well said!

Unfortunately Noel will not be playing anything live on Skavland, he is only there to be interviewed. I'm still both surprised and disapointed at that... Melissa Horn is playing live instead of Noel. Meh...

great! is anyone planing on recording? Don't think this will work outside Sweden but it's worth a try: svtplay.se/t/102974/skavlanIf it's working you can watch the show there, direct after the show's over.

Looking forward to see it! Maybe you people who live in Stockholm can find Noel on the club Bangers 'n' Mash later on thursday night. Noel know the two guys who own it. I think they record Skavlan on a thursday. isn't that the club Andy Bell co owns? I don't know... I only know that they guys names are Robert and Magnus. If I remember right Gem did a DJ set there in 2007. Maybe Andy have done that too.

That was a surprise! Because the reviewers at that newspaper hates everything the Gallagher brothers do.

The only song that the strings annoy me on is Record Machine. The strings and the choir in the chorus are just to high in the mix. Besides that, I have no problem with the strings on the other songs.

Where's the fuckin' saw and the wine glasses? I couldn't hear them.
I like the album, anyway. Stand out tracks for me has to be Everybody's On The Run, If I Had A Gun..., AKA... Broken Arrow, (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach and Stop The Clocks. Too much choir and strings in the chorus of Record Machine, for my taste.
The weakest for me is Dream On, AKA... What A Life! and Soldier Boys And Jesus Freaks. But I hope they'll grow on me. Don't think AKA... What A Life! will grow on me, though.

I listened to them more when I was younger, but have a listen now and again nowadays too. It's a great band!
My favorite album would be "Du & Jag Döden" ("You And Me The Death", or something like that in english). That one has to be their darkest album ever made, in line with "Röd" ("Red"). Not too keen on their first two albums, though.
