"Better Man" and "Little James" are OK. Don't forget that "Little James" was Liam's first songwriting effort. George Harrison's first try wasn't particularly impressive either ("Don't Bother Me" off With The Beatles). What bothers me about "Better Man" is the half an hour of silence at the end.
A song I really fucking hate is "Shaker Maker". And what bothers me about it the most is that it's on my favorite Oasis album. With all those great songs Noel wrote, they could have at least found something to replace that garbage? But apparently they were quite fond of the song, as it was even released as a single!
The more I listen to Oasis, the more I get to like the songs I used to think were shit. I hate Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants less each day. But if you look at all the songs Oasis have ever put out (including B-Sides and bonus cuts) there are a couple of boring Noel ballads that I can hardly bare.
Anyway, I figured out that Oasis have exactly 123 songs released (excluding covers, live songs, demos and unrealeased songs) so once I fing enough time I'll have them all ranked in order of how I like them.
