FIRST: they didnt even played my generation when masterplan came out.
SECOND (and im getting realy pissed about this one): Swamp song is one of the rock n rollest things oasis has ever made. Its fucking brilliant. Take a GOOD listen to it for once and dont go: o, theres no lyrics in there, that cant be good. The rifs are amazing, so are the solos and the harmonics. Why dyou think its one of peewee's favourite oasis-songs?

I know, i always skipped the song on morning glory and masterplan, but as soon as I heard it live (and yes i know the masterplan recording is live, but you know what i mean) i totally dig this song.

to play? erm, live solo of champagne supernova, dlbia, c&a. Dunno realy. the intro of some might say is cool i have to say.
swamp song is easy to play. but you have to do it with drums and bass and a second and maybe a third guitar.

I just tryed the swamp song acoustic and it sounds quite cool
a song i like to play on the electric is guns n roses-sweet child o' mine
anyway, to stick to the topic, another oasis song i don't like is wonderwall. it's not that there is anything wrong with the song itself, it's just that it gets quite annoying when people talk about it like it's the best song ever, there are much better oasis songs out there

true, but its the ultimate radiosong.
It IS cool though, to play it on the electric. When I play my electric and others are around and ill start intro of wonderwall everydoy sings along. Sounds pretty rocknroll on the electric, like it did at glastonbury.
problem is, is that my voice is too low, so i have to switch the capo.
doesnt matter. people dont even notice.

An interesting question, for me it depends on how i'm feeling. Sometimes I don't like wonderwall, other times it's The Hindu Times and others get overlooked sometimes also. None of them I would call the worse, just not favourites at a particular time.  |
