how do you guys think the new oasis album will fair? do you think it will get them some more american attention since the music scene right now is lacking, or will it just be like the last couple of records which sold pretty much just in Britian.
personally I think they'll have a couple of really solid hits. I think noel will try to prove that he still has it and isn't following the stone's footsteps.

I'm pretty sure it'll be a damn good album.
Not sure if it'll put Oasis back on the map though, they don't have the same appeal to many people anymore. They'll never recoup the levels they reached in the 90's, but they're still a great group and I'm sure it'll be a great album and I for one am very much looking forward to it!

i think oasis are starting to become a little more respectable. they get alot of air play on radio 2, and as noel is becomming older, he is becomming wiser. wonder what liam will be like in his interviews about the new album, cos for HC he always seemed nice and realaxed and chilled out.
we'll have to wait and see, should be a good summer!

I live in hope but it's worrying when the b-side album from their glory days pisses over the last two!

I live in hope but it's worrying when the b-side album from their glory days pisses over the last two! I thought that the masterplan was a great collection considering that in Canada its impossible to hear Oasis B-sides.... DF MG and BHN are easily their best albums in my opinion... I think that the only way the next album will near the success of the first 3 will be if they have new classic rocking songs ie Acquiesce, Morning Glory, Roll With It... I am optimistic its gunna be great. ---++Give Me Gin And Tonic++---
