well, i think if Liam lead the band, it would be pretty interesting..just the way he would do it..but i don't think he could do it better than Noel.

noel is ireplaceable, i think if noel left they'd split and do different things anyway, but noel and liam together make oasis the other people may aswell be session musicians, without either noel or liam in the band, oasis would be crap and if they tried to continue it would be very depressing, it would be like there hanging on to the past instead of leaving us with our great memories.It just wouldnt work without either there a double act.

Noel did leave Oasis for a while and they got Matt Deighton in to replace him. Liam carried the band through the rough times and Noel now respects Liam for it, and Noel knows that he should think more of Liam instead of just being the front man.
I think if anyone left now it would be permanent. And they shouldn't carry on if anyone one of the band members wasn't in it 100%

I dont think Liam would be arsed to run a band on his own for very long. Noel has the business brains and more of the drive to carry Oasis.

oasis without noel, first of all, wouldnt be singin in finsbury park... and their songs would be crap...i mean..imagine a cd with the following tracks:
little james
born on a diff. cloud
better man
songbird
noel runs the band....he produces the cd, makes the tunes and the lyrics...and plays the lead guitar... oasis without noel would be nothing... and oasis without liams voice would have a very different sound also...

Oaisis would be Knackerd without Noel! Hes the brains of the band aint he? He is the stable one so to speak! Liams voice may be better than Noel's but he dont write the chart topping lyrics! I LOVED Liams songs Little James and Song Bird, shows his sensitive side!  |

Oasis wouldn't be Oasis without Noel or Liam. Both keep the band going.
But Oasis without Noel would be something new, a better new i'm not sure. I think Liam would be a bigger loss.
Noel is needed though.

If push comes to shove I would much like a Noel Oasis than a Liam Oasis. But they are truly irreplaceable.

oasis wouldnt be the same without either of them, Noel's the talent behind the band and liam adds a kind of tenacity and flair to the band that needs to be there
