I think it would be Liam, noel has written about 5 good songs in the last 7 years, Liam's stuff on Heathen Chemistry is amazing!!

Liam of course.. he's right getting rock'n roll right now..I'm sure his new songs are at least as good as on HC..and I think he's also more popular and more interesting for people..

Noel, the best songs on HC were still by him IMO and he has far more range to his songwriting than Liam has shown!

Liam did it only for 4 times(+Take me), and that was better than everything on SOTSOG by Noel..by the way, i think Noel won't write anything huge anymore, and oasis' future depends from Liam..

Lets be honest right, noel hasnt wrote anything special since WTSMG. You can say that hindu times is great, but is it special? Same with Little by Little, he can still write a tune but that genius touch to it has gone. Songs like Live forever, wonderwall and champagne supernova have that touch, even roll with it has some kind of special touch!! But noel has lost that touch. Liam comes out with songbird, which has SPECIAL written all over it, same with Different Cloud. Noel has said all he can say in his songs, now its Liam's turn!!

liam isn't a good songwriter at all.. half of his songs were appalling.. but he's the man the public is interested in.. he draws attention.. don't forget we're livin in the era of pop idol and chubby williams..

Remember when roll with it came out? Walking down the street with a bit of a swagger going on, roll with it wasnt just about the song, it was about what it meant at the time, same as the whole as WTSMG, the timing was perfect.

i was about 14 or something and a mate played me live forever which has been out around that time and it blew my head off, oasis got me into music too. It was such good times mate, in 1996 when oasis played knebworth and stuff, oasis were HUGE, everyone loved them, more than dickhead williams and people, do u remember any of it?

i went finsbury park that was a pretty big buzz. But id of really loved to have bin at knebworth. It takes the piss though there's no new great rock n roll bands at the minuite, maybe the strokes but thats it. One had better come along before i leave my teens our ill feel very deprived.

the strokes are amazing but i dont think there will ever be another big rock n roll band, they dont make enough money anymore! record companies just want pretty boys and girls to sell records. Fuck it though, in a way its good when u get into a band and they dont get too huge, it kinda keeps them more real. Im not having a dig at oasis but what have they got to sing about anymore that we can relate to?
