i like them. Although i dont like the people in the band to much i think they make some great music though. Oasis and Radiohead fans havnt always got on ive noticed from various other forums. Which i think is down to comments from both bands about each other as generally none of the fans give a reason why they dont like them. So if you really dont like them please state why. And make it a good reason not just there fuckin shit.

i like them. Although i dont like the people in the band to much i think they make some great music though. cheers i don't like the anti-pop stuff on kid a and amnesiac a bit and HTTT in parts goes to the same direction but the bends, pablo honey or i might be wrong EP contain some fine and classic indie tunes.. they should not try to be too much avantgarde, it looks - no it sounds kinda ridiculous at times.. |

yeh for all the sruff they do on computers i find u have to be in the right mood to listen to it, and once youve given it a couple of listens it grows on you a lot. I know what you mean the first time I listend to the kid A album i was like "oh fuck ive wasted ten quid on this" but after a while it gets really good and my musical taste has broadend after listening to it, which is a really good thing.

besides some electronic elements that are employed people might have a problem to get used to thom's unique singin style. it turns into moaning at times but as you said, columbia, it takes time til you're open to their (new) stuff..

i like karma police and fake plastic trees best out of the older stuff. And i like the pyramid song knives out and 2+2=5 out of the newer stuff.

i love pablo honey, the bends and especially ok computer stuff but all the newer material only depresses me, that moaning, god i really really cant stand it. u can sound dark like, i dont ask for shiny happy jingles, listen to interpol, there all dark but so cool, AND no MOANS
they (radiohead) are allright generally though

Thom Yorkes way of singing is one of the best things about them IMO. Hes got a great voice realy original and distinctive, which i think is definitely one of the aims radiohead have when they make an album to try and make it different from what other people and what they have done before, espescialy on the newer albums. Sometimes when i listen to the last three albums i think no theyve took it to far this time, but then part of me thinks no its realy great that theyre exploring and trying to prevent it going boring and all the same.

they're fucking amazing man. im not much of an amnesiac or kida fan but all their other albums are really stellar. i think oasis and radiohead usually don't get on because the bands themselves don't like one another. it doesn't matter much to me they both put out good music.

Radiohead to me are like the fable 'The Emperors New Clothes' - indie kids, journalists, the clowns that write in the NME these days etc, think they have to say they like them coz its cool to 'name-drop' them or something, but really, deep down, they think they are rubbish and would secretly rather listen to Britney or something. Miserable as sin, personally and musically, they should be lined up against a wall and shot in my opinion. So overall, you could say I love them. ;D |

all i've listened of radiohead are from ok computer and the bends. haven't gone farther than that....all i can say is that ok computer is sweet. i thought it would be massively boring, but paranoid android is sweet.
