hmm now thats a hard one. Both faves of mine (and probably everyone else around here) so i'd find it hard to choose one
lyrically Live Forever is the best, plus it has the best solo. but i just love the guitar sound on Supersonic!
i'd probs go for Live Forever overall. Maybe i should listen to them again to decide - where's my Definitely Maybe CD??
well hopefully its half way across the atlantic ocean by now!! ;D

Well, it's a tough choice, but I'll have to go with Supersonic. Though, like daysleeper said, Live Forever was better lyrically. ^^

live forever beats supersonic into the ground. supersonic is a great tune, but as liverpudlian said.. is there really a contest!

Tough one, Supersonic was there first single (1 point).
Live Forever has the greatest lyrics ever (1-1).
Supersonic has drug references in it (2-1).
Live Forever sounds great acoustically as well as with the amps upto 11 (2-2).
Err....
Live Forever is a piss easy song to play on a guitar: G, D, Am7, C, D (Chorus) Em7, D, Am7, C, D.

Tomo is right Supersonic is easy to butcher on guitar and Live Forever is quite a simple tune to play. My vote goes to Live Forever because the lyrics make great sense, Supersonic is gibberish lyrically. Watching Oasis perform Live Forever live on There and Then Or FTM shows you how great the song is because they use as a tribute to artists who have died using the giant screen to the bands back. BRILLIANT
