well i haven't heard a single one of those albums listed. and to be honest, i can't even remember the last album i bought! don't think i got one this year so far - although i got Coldplay's latest- does that count? ;D
no it came out last year didnt it? and i didnt buy it...
can i vote for Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco?? it came out last year but i've only just discovered it!
out of those bands listed, my fave song from any of them is Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes

I agree with maketradefair, the kings of leon album is amazing, out of the oneslisted i went for the darkness cos thats good as well

apparently they are being hailed as the "saviours of British rock music". haven't heard many of their songs except that "get you hands off my woman" or something like that.

I new the scouser would vote for the Coral
sorry dude i would have put it on the list but i have to listen to that album all the time at work and quite frankly it gets on my tits now. Pass it on and Bill Makay are two quality songs though!

Now I know someone is gonna hire someone to shoot me for saying this, but the darkness's Permission To Land is really really wonderful..as long as you can see past the commercial cheesey-ness of I believe in a thing called love, friday night etc...the songwriting and musicianship is top grade so ive recently taken up part-time darkness preaching along with my full time Oasis preaching  |
