the first 2 albums are amazing.. the 2nd being even far better actually. i think it's still not reached by any coldplay record.. but their 3rd one was a major blowoff

I also think that Good Feeling and The Man Who are great albuns, but The Invisible Band had only a few good songs. Even so, in my opinion, Turn and All I Want To Do Is Rock are their best songs.
Keep on rockin'!

Yeah i definitely like a few songs. Favorites are "writing to reach you" and "driftwood". Well they played my favs tonite at the Beacon in NYC. Closed with "Why does it always Rain on me". Only complaint was too much political crap going on in between songs. I just want to hear music, I get enough political shite on the TV!!! Insult Tony Blair on your own time and $$. They were good though. And Rooney opened?? not bad, not great, but still not bad. Made me realize I miss Oasis and am dying to see them perform...there just isn't a comparison. The kicker and most entertaining part of the evening. A lady(looked like a porn star) was walking her cat in the bus station on the way home. She paid $7k for her cat. yup $7k!!! wtf!!!! strange- I heard of walking dogs to get dates, but cats....

well said. ive seen so many bands since i saw oasis last september. and you are rite. nothing compares to em,at all. especially live. again WELL SAID! ;D Thank you Mr. Mod! yeah it is kind of a tease isn't it. You try and attend shows hoping that they will be tops, when the reality of it is that nothing can compare to an Oasis gig, and then you get depressed again. Sad cycle it is, until they tour again.

New album's quality. The natural follow on from the Man Who. Ups my rating to a big fat YES!!!

The last few Travis albums have had the shelf life of a stick of gum for me. Great for a bit, then...meh. Hoping for something a little different this time around.

I've always found their poppier sound more interesting than their rockier side. The Man Who is a great, beautiful and melodic album. The Invisible Band is also very good but not on the same level than the Man Who. It's quite bright and sunny sounding.
